People mix up the suburbs and the city Absolutely most of the men in the city are working blue-collar jobs… They are roofers, Plumbers, Electricians, Truck drivers, Concrete I spent a lot of time on the eastside.. Like 4 days a week… They’re all blue collar over there I don’t know any doctors or physical therapists or bankers on the east side.. They’re all in clearance and Williamsville and East aurora The city is blue-collar… The suburbs are white collar

Buffalo716 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or other players take to different coaching styles Brady is the classic overachiever who obviously takes criticism and it lights a fire under him to work ass off Mac might be a typical millennial who needs high praise to get his confidence up -

Remember When the bills And the city Did an advisory Council to figure out all the details for the stadium? Remember when They said that a new stadium will bring as much economic impact to Western New York as a new target? The bills Want a football stadium.. to Play football in… that’s it The bills are perfectly fine with that… They don’t want a multi use facility they said time and time again They wanna build a football stadium

Because most high powered schools guys are playing in the NBA Syracuse really is about as high power of a program as you’ll get in this tournament Basically all of their starters are professional basketball players… Most play overseas with some in the NBA… It’s easy to get the overseas guys to come and play for $1 million… The NBA guys won’t do it So schools like Duke.. Where all their stars go to the NBA and not overseas… None of them will ever play in the tournament You’re basically looking for schools with a lot of European pros or G leaguer’s -

Again Nobody said he doesn’t play well when given the chance But it’s completely different to do it week in and week out for an entire season or Just turn up big for a few games He’s been here for four years and if they only made him a big part of the game plan twice maybe it’s cause he’s not always consistent… Day-to-day consistency is key in the NFL

Because stats talk Johnson is coming off 1000 yards… McKenzie doesn’t have 1000 yards in four total seasons here he has the talent he needs to produce

Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
Buffalo716 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Being around the game for 30+ years I could agree to that An NFL football player or division one football player knows the time And work it takes to put in… If you grow up Around that you’ll understand the effort that takes Opposed to the talented kid with not a lot of work ethic -

I mean it’s all positional With the running backs You’re looking at a myriad of things to translate to the NFL - NFL Build - Vision - burst through hole - can they “get skinny” - ability to break arm tackles - contact balance - breakaway speed - pass protection ability - toughness - ability to fight for extra yards - Catching ability out of the backfield There’s even more but I’d say that’s the main things I’m looking for when I’m scouting a running back Then you get into scheme specific things -

I don’t think it’s a strong unit But in 2001 I don’t think it’s weak Brown was top 10 in receiving in 2001 and Patton was top 40… 31 teams That’s not bad actually especially for that era
