It's because elite defensive talent goes a lot quicker than offensive talent in the draft We literally gave Allen two people who all pro'd in diggs and Beasley in pro personnel moves We drafted him an athletic freak at tight end in Knox... And we've been building up the offensive line .. not to mention Gabe looks like a steal Cuz we don't take a first round running back or wide receiver every year we're not helping him? The Packers don't even sign good free agents for Rodgers We build our offense through personnel moves and free agency mostly.. we build our defense through the draft

They are different positions?

Listen I've seen this board blow Tom Brady I was blasted a few weeks ago for not unanimously declaring him the goat When I think you could put a few Hall of Fame quarterbacks with belichick and he would have those super bowls It takes two to tango and people who think belichick is bad now without Brady are crazy

Elam is definitely physically superior but I don't think he's as good in all facets of coverage as Tre was coming out ...Tre played all coverage techniques at a high degree If Tre had his height and physical gifts he would have went top five He definitely has a very high ceiling learning from Tre and our coaches

We lost because Harris broke off like a 70-yard touchdown Take that away and they were running at like a 3.6 yard per clip It was freak weather conditions that happen once every 10 years Their strategy of 40 runs and one pass probably wouldn't work again Belichick played it smart and we didn't... At the end of the day that's all that happened.. but that doesn't mean the same thing happens if you played it a hundred times

It's not that rare that Vegas isn't right If you could bet favorites all day and win all the time it be easy to become rich I've bet enough to know that favorites lose all the time

Bill belichick's defensive game plan shut down the bills kgun in the Bills Giants SB ... It's literally in the HoF he's been a defensive guru for 30 plus years and has won super bowls with great defensive performances His ability to adapt his scheme across multiple eras ... Running multiple fronts and confusing top quarterbacks for 30 years is a tremendous legacy And he just took the Patriots to the playoffs with a terrible rag arm quarterback... He just can't stop Josh Allen : ) And yes he isn't the greatest GM.. but his defensive coaching abilities are unquestioned

Singletary was 19th in carries... 16th in yards... 13th in broken tackles... And he came on at the end of last season.. again we could have won the super bowl last year and he wasn't holding our offense back Of course there's better running backs than him in the NFL but he's not the one holding us back from a super bowl

Jonathan Taylor is also playing with an amazing run blocking line You see the run blocking schemes they're able to pull off and it's a thing of beauty Put him behind the Texans line and I guarantee he doesn't look like an all pro It always takes two to tango.. OJ Simpson behind a weak line wasn't an MVP

Josh Allen is built for Buffalo
Buffalo716 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol really? I'm as pro Buffalo as they come.. born and raised.. still here But if I was a millionaire , I would absolutely go out to Los Angeles or New York City for my birthday or my girls -
No offense but if he was actually Ricky Williams or LT he wouldn't be thought of as a boarder line first rounder .. he would be off the board top 10 I stand by my Matt Forte comp.. he was electric in college It doesn't mean he can't turn into an all pro but if he was Ricky or LT day 1... He wouldn't last long

I don't think one scout has ever called him slow just because of his 40 time Is he the best running back in the class ? No But he Played behind the weakest offensive line out of all the top running backs in this class.. consistently produced And like I said was maybe caught from behind once in 3 years... He plays a lot faster than that 40 time He's not a burner but he isn't slow

Probably a Clydesdale lmao

Josh Allen is built for Buffalo
Buffalo716 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that's part of my point Josh Allen has said it since day one he wants to stay with one organization his entire career... Now we actually have a steady stable organization where other stars want to play I don't think he wants to leave here.. I think he's thanking his lucky stars he got drafted to buffalo -
Do you think Spillers slow because of his 40 time or have you actually watched him play a good amount? Because I've watched him play for years and he plays a lot faster than his 40 time He has been tripped up from behind like once when he's running away from people in space Somebody's going to get a good running back in the second or third round

Josh Allen is built for Buffalo
Buffalo716 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We literally gave him 350 million And we will give it to him again He's got at least one more contract here guaranteed... We just got von Miller here.. this is a place people want to play The city you're in does not matter.. in fact pre draft Josh said he didn't want to go to a big city I understand your premise but you're just going by the lines of what a lot of superstars or Hollywood a-listers would think... You're not thinking like Josh Allen -
Name some good outside cornerbacks with sub 30 inch arms.
Buffalo716 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
@NewEraThe closest I could find would be Antoine Winfield 30 1/8 Mcduffie is 29 3/4 So that is like 3/8 off Not a lot of people honestly... But his almost 40 inch vertical could also make up some room -
Probably a combination of both he doesn't have bad length but it's about average and he's a little slight for a center So he doesn't really have position versatility.. he would need more mass or length for a guard The lack of flexibility will push him down the board a little bit probably He still grades out as a good starting center.. but he's had some problems moving some zero and one techs in college.. some bigger plugs will give him some fits All of that I can see sliding him to the second round where a lot of good interior lineman go If he was 310 no doubt he's top 30
-
His size might scare some teams off If he had ideal size he would be a top 25 pick... He might go 35 now

OT…Steelers legend Devlin “Duck” Hodges retires
Buffalo716 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that was part of my point of why i don't take them too seriously That's something that pundits do or journalists do not scouts I could do without clickbait, now all the advanced stats are good -
Karlos probably has CTE due to how hard he played running back and safety.. seemed like he Antonio Brown'd in his own way Becton is just a massive man who has always struggled keeping his weight off and went to a dumpster fire organization
