  1. I agree I was just curious RIP mad bomber
  2. God it's been so long now I thought it was Billy Shaw, could have been another '60s player.. but a lot of people there swore it was the real dude Me and a few users asked him straight up and he said it wasn't I do know Chris Brown and some other bills players were there occasionally
  3. That's actually not 100% true The person with the Billy Shaw username was not Billy Shaw I saw a lot of people ask him and he told me himself he was not.. so that's one at least I do know there were some ex bills on the site but the Billy Shaw told me he wasn't him
  4. OJ Simpson behind a weak line wouldn't look like an MVP It all starts upfront
  5. He he also disagreed that Devin singletary would look good behind the colts offensive line I don't disagree that Breece Hall and Taylor are better.. but singletary took shady's job as a rookie and is still 4.6 yards per carry career He isn't a scrub Some stats that show our offensive line is a bigger problem... As a rookie singletary faced a stacked box on 8% of carries... He averaged 5.6 yards per carry on that stacked box... Very good Last year on a stacked box.. which was only 3% of the time Singletary averaged 1.8 yards per carry Singletary didn't become 5 yards per carry worse.. our line really struggles at blocking a stacked box On a base front. Singletary still averages 5.3 yards per carry last year... On a light box 4.4... we aren't great at blocking a light box either Singletary was 19th in touches , but 13th in evaded tackles.. he had to make a lot of guys miss at all levels We struggle to run block
  6. Of course I said it multiple times in this thread every single division one player is really talented... The ones who are draft eligible have all been exceptional football players for the better part of their lives for the most part... Outside of the elite few, it's the little things like work ethic, scheme fit, character that set most draft picks apart from others It's why you sit down and try to get to know these prospects
  7. Again where is that going against what I'm saying? I'm not saying that the bills can't do better than Devin singletary I'm saying that there are a lot of good running backs that go in the second and third and even into the fourth round yearly .. even fifth round running backs Beane needs to decide how big the drop between Hall and the other running backs are Compared to our other positions of need and see how big their drop is And yes at the end of the day a good line makes every running back look better ... There's a lot of talented running backs in the NFL.. even at the backup spots
  8. I'm not arguing that but there's a 100% truth to what I said There are a lot of really talented running backs in the NFL who could put up really good numbers behind a good line I'm not debating whether Hall is a good running back or not.. because he's obviously very talented.. he is my RB1 in the class What Beane has to decide, is if the drop off from Hall to the other running backs in the class.. is big enough to take him in the first .. and where he falls compared to other players
  9. Because we really struggle run blocking Put singletary behind the colts line and he will look really good.. he wouldn't be Jonathan Taylor but he would look really good
  10. Of course they can it's the NFL draft Did you see the names of quarterbacks that went before Tom Brady? It's not an exact science why would I not know this? Every single kid available in the NFL draft has immense talent
  11. There are busts and gems at every single position But running back depth does slide further Jonathan Taylor , cam Akers , jk dobbins, aj dillon all recent 2nd rounders Miles Sanders 2nd round , Darrell Henderson 3rd , David Montgomery 3rd , Damien Harris 3rd.. tony pollard rd4 Nick Chubb rd 2, dalvin cool rd 2, Joe Mixon rd 2, Alvin kamara rd 3, Kareem hunt rd 3, marlon Mack Rd 4, Aaron Jones Rd 5 Almost every year there is running backs in the second or third round that are impact players
  12. How am I contradicting myself? I said the class has five or six top corners .. outside of those five or six guys which are going to go in the top 40 picks It's not as deep into the third or fourth round as running back It's deep at high end talent not across the board Running back depth is going to be stronger in round three then the outside corners.. I know what I said
  13. I don't disagree that you could find a good cornerback in the second or third round I'm just saying that it's easier to find a good running back in round three compared to a good corner I think the drop off is significantly more for corners than running backs
  14. With the talent of division one running backs there are a lot of good ones in every single round There are 50 running backs in the NFL who have the talent to go for a thousand yards if given enough carries.. what most of them don't have is the longevity to do it for more than a season or two Every year there are good running backs that go undrafted.. That's how deep the pool is The cornerback pool is not that deep
  15. Again you could find a gem in any round realistically Those corners are all going to be gone by the time our second round pick rolls away You can find a really good running back in the second or third rounds of a lot of drafts ... Your chances of hitting a good outside corner are significantly lower
  16. It's a lot easier to find a running back in the draft than a true outside corner Realistically you could find a gem anywhere, but your odds of finding a true outside cornerback decrease every round You can find a stud running back in in the second or third round of a lot of drafts
  17. not all drafts are created equal Sometimes there are 5-6 players at a group with first round talent This is a deep corner class... Much deeper with high end talent than rb
  18. Shady actually didn't shy away from contact at pitt He had an impressive contact balance and ability to run through arm tackles I do think Walker has more physicality and squares up on a better angle... While he might not have the lateral quickness of shady, I do think he brings more thunder at the point of contact like you said
  19. I Think Kenneth Walker runs a bit like shady He's a compact runner with really good quickness and speed He can hit the cut back and has the speed to bounce it outside I think he's a little bit more one cut than shady , but he has that creative can make something out of nothing style Impressive ability to change directions and even finish with some power He would be a great second round pick
  20. RBs are called a dome a dozen because D1 RBs are so talented you can get one in any round and he can produce ... Whether its 1 year or 5 ... You can find a talented RB in the 5th round... It's Hard to find a talented quarterback or left tackle in the 5th
  21. The problem with that list is most didn't give their teams consistent production RBs are pushed down the board because the talent pool is so deep , and the position has a short shelf life There are literally 50 or 60 backs in the NFL who have the talent to get you a thousand yards with enough carries.. problem is.. there's not a lot of backs that have three or four of those seasons in them You need to manage them correctly... So you are expecting a lot out of a first round RB... The expectations are very high and most don't come close Lots of bell cows and feature backs go in the 2nd round because the value is better
  22. Anybody who still complains about the jax game doesn't realize the NFL IS ANY GIVEN SUNDAY That's not a cliche , that's a fact ... There is so much talent on an NFL field if a team doesn't show up they WILL lose Especially with a good football player in Lawrence who was not gonna go 0-16 easily
  23. Transferred to Georgia tech
  24. Every middle-aged Polacks favorite day n Buffalo
