  1. That's why I said receiver and blocker.. it's a package as a 3rd down back The biggest reason Zach Moss was taking snaps from singletary his rookie year was because of blocking.. the biggest attribute for a third down back People think that all they do is run routes and catch... The reality is they're blocking more often than they're actually running routes.. across 32 teams the biggest job for third down back is block and release Fred Jackson was a master, that's why we couldn't keep him off the field Mckissick is better at blocking and releasing .. dukes a little more explosive.. and both are pretty steady But I feel beane wanted the blocking asset
  2. I think Crowder plays pretty fast.. he isnt a burner by any means .. but he's really quick, and seems to get up to top speed fairly fast He's been a matchup nightmare inside 10 yards for a lot of teams.. he seems to be open a lot in that area And he'll probably bring more speed then Cole.. I like the signing He's a crisp route runner If you noticed I said and blocker.. that means both taken into context Duke is a little more explosive and has a little bit more yards per catch.. but jd is a much better blocker Both have been fairly reliable receivers but JD is a good blocking back.. protecting Josh probably put that over the hump ... Never misses a pickup People forget that a third down backs top job is pass protection.. then be an outlet... Very few guys like McCaffrey who just run routes out of the backfield all day
  3. He's not listed as a coach on the 1970 team he got hurt and was basically being transitioned to a player coach... Finally being named in 1972 when he retired But those last two years he basically didn't play while just coaching... Like 80 carries in 3 years
  4. Mckissic is the better receiving option and blocker as a combination Duke is a better runner and more dynamic receiver
  5. Dan Reeves finished off the 1972 season and then became an assistant
  6. Yea bodine was very very average
  7. There's a reason I'm going back to Jim Thorpe LOL
  8. He's solid but he will never be more than a rotation guy He might not even make the roster He's a great camp guy who has some game.. when all is said and done he'll probably push for the #3 job in camp
  9. Jim Thorpe played for and coached the Canton bulldogs in 1920
  10. Well some fan you are 😝
  11. I hope the bills win Or I'm sleeping on the couch
  12. +610 So 1000 for 6100
  13. I make plenty of dumb decisions
  14. Already bought some to support iron mike
  15. That's looking like a pretty damn good bet Lots can happen in the NFL but that's absolutely a good play
  16. Got $1,000 in dividends last week Doubling down and putting it right on the bills to win the super bowl next year I BILLIEVE
  17. I think the bills could still fit that contract under the cap with a couple maneuvers
  18. An undrafted free agent who has 7 starts in 3 seasons is not gonna get an outrageous contract regardless his versatility
  19. X wrs line up on both sides of the field now Tre had shadowed receivers over the years across the field ... Dane Jackson stayed on one side ... I wouldn't say that's replacing a number 1 ... Tre was top 10 shadowing Him and Levi played LCB RCB , nobody shadowed WRs He played a starting cb role , not a number 1 role And yes I think Dane can be good .. especially since he's been allowed to develop
  20. That was Levi Wallace who took the spot Dane took Levi's original spot
  21. A Charles clay player isn't a scrub Even if we overpaid for clay he led our team in catches and was a top 32 TE in the league.. not to mention the best statistical tight end we've had here in a decade Plus Howard is a backup not a starter.. and was considered one of the best players in his draft An athletic freak with big play capability who are not paying much
  22. Ofc but players improve Ed is coming into his own ... Gregg should develop , add von and milanos ability to blitz I'm not too worried
