  1. Well I wanted "GoldenWheels" but it was taken. LOL. And frankly I feel like a scab barely modifying an established name here. But old habits die hard.
  2. I'm fine with him taking the guys out to dinner. It's nice, period, and great PR. But I think the coaches and players SHOULD ignore our past. I don't think the team "culture" now has much to do with these all time greats he took out to dinner, nor do I think there is much, if anything, to learn from their "culture". Don't forget your helmet? We're the 4 time superbowl losers to the fans so far as "culture" and always will be until we aren't....but the players who have been losing the last decade, or recently under Rex, were babies in 1993. They don't know that culture. To them we're just another average to bad team, like a lot of others in the NFL who didn't lose 4 superbowls in a row. So I say, yes, ignore it. Bury it. Burn it. They'd be better off. JMO.
  3. I am from Connecticut. I sat down on January 27th, 1991, to watch the Superbowl with my Dad. I was a 10 year old video game geek with no real sports interests, he was an adult computer geek with no real sports interests. But it was the Superbowl and I was really just becoming aware of this thing called sports. We had no loyalties to any team. He said "well I guess it's more fun when you have someone to root for, I'm going to root for the Giants". So I had a choice. Should I root WITH my dad, or AGAINST my dad. I decided rooting against each other made the game more interesting. The rest, as they say, is like the official Bills board. History. FML.
  4. If the tank was on I don't think Tyrod is still here. We could have found our own Curtis Painter and sucked for...somebody.
  5. You had me at "So, welcome everyone" and then: "5. Cater to adults over kids. No graphics in signatures and other busy layout schemes. In fact, the text based sigs may be going away to make the even design cleaner." ...I fell in love. I'll try to wipe my feet every time I come in, and put my dishes in the sink every time. Thanks for allowing us to share your home.
  6. Best of luck to the man, wish him a long, healthy life.
  7. Had hoped to keep him but figured it wasn't in the cards. Oh well. Good luck Robert.
  8. Works for me, glad they were able to restructure.
  9. Extremely disappointing. Say what you will about the place, but it was my Bills home. I came home to an eviction notice, and nobody even told me the rent was due. I apologize to the real GoldenWheels here for doing one of those lame one character off usernames. Old names die hard. Nuts to this. Nobody was a German soldier once WWII ended either. They were on the farm the whole time! Someday there will be a Nuremberg for you Teef.
