  1. Boy i don't think it is a mistake, though I did at first....now they can just say to the Giants....if anyone calls you to get #2, call us, we'll give you something decent to move back only one spot AND guarantee they won't take whomever the Giants want. Basically the Jets can rooster block us very easily from #3. Sure they have to give up even more but if they think anyone might leapfrog them to their guy, why wouldn't they? (If Giants go QB I'm all wrong but I am banking on them taking Saquon in this scenario)
  2. Whelp....I hate this. I really hope we don't let the Giants raid our cupboard to get ahead of the Jets. Be super interesting to see how things go now.
  3. I dunno.....Bruschi seems to be trying to read more into Rosen's head than anything else. That said, yes, he's an idiot. BTW ESPN just gave him another "hit" on the "hit" counter. A counter which only ever existed for Teddy Bruschi.
  4. Agreed. The culture of a locker room or a workplace i think McDermott values is working toward one goal as a unit and buying into your coach and his vision. I think you can be a part of that 'culture' no matter what actual culture you come from.
  5. I've got so far to go. I wish I could trade in my BBMB post count like tickets at an arcade. Can't I get something for them? A little comb maybe? A pencil topper?
  6. I mean, I have SO few posts and SO little "rep" (LMAO) you probably shouldn't listen to me, but I have been curious why big news that is confirmed doesn't seem to get stickied? Seems that if they did the people operating in good faith would at least have a chance to see the news they were already beaten to the punch/post on. Might cut down on multiples. No? or do stickies just take a while?
  7. I saw what Keenum got (granted for playing very well) and my head hurt for a minute.
  8. Could be, I wonder about that tweet (by Sal C maybe, not sure) who said they didn't really go after any other FA qbs. made me wonder if all we did was call once on Sam and go, oh you want how much?...no thanks!!!
  9. Agreed again. Held their cards close, didn't panic. Probably got a better deal on the guy they wanted all along because of it.
  10. Think that's probably happenin? I'd think he'd want a shot to start but maybe we haven't even approached him. I wouldn't want to see Hoyer have to play but OTOH he's been around the league and would probably be a good resource for the rookie. And could be relied upon to be plainly average for a game here and there.
  11. We needed bodies period at the spot. Good start. Just hope the bank ain't broken.
  12. man...I haven't been looking forward to an NFL draft like this in YEARS. We just keep adding ammo/moving up. I feel like....a fan of a legit NFL franchise.
  13. I think the Pied Piper strategy needs to get Xed out of the old political playbook. Cuz...whoops.
  14. That is so many wins I can't even sum them all. Frankly I'd rather pay 20 bucks at applebees than pay out the nose for Cousins. Let's be real, the applebees will only be with you for a few hours anyway. Cousins you are stuck with for years, and that dude is gonna get the monies.
  15. I think he's kind of a blowhard but I won't lie, I'd have been ok with him taking over as our next HC when Dougie left. And that's how I felt THEN, even without the benefit of Rex Ryan hindsight... I totally get he may just be one of those good coordinator/bad HC guys, that may be 100% true. Still, I'd have been ok with it.
  16. I think he's lucky Rex came directly after him...that's kind of like being the blimp accident right before the Hindenburg disaster.
  17. I'd take him in a heartbeat if it's a third or less. 2nd I gotta think about it. Yeah the playoff record ain't great. My Giants fan buddy was trying to tell me it would take one first and one second this year, and a second next year. I told him he was being a real mcadoo.
  18. ....for a fun season and for persevering when very few thought you could or would. I've dogged this team enough online since 2004 that I should at least offer my thanks, even if no one at OBD ever sees it (no worries OBD, I'm gonna drop some ching in the Bills store, been a while since I did that!). My wife of 12 years, and my sons of 10 and 6 are seeing their first taste of Bills playoff football. My mother in law is fully aboard the bandwagon. They are jacked for tomorrow. I even have fellow NFL fans on the bandwagon for us in my town as we seem like such a good story (the Dalton charity bit really helped). This season has been FUN and EXCITING. Obviously, this is easy to say being in the playoffs. I didn't expect playoffs or even a winning record this year so all of this is a huge surprise in my mind... ...but I'm going to try my best to keep this year in perspective no matter what happens tomorrow: We've got a solid team with a very competent first year HC, that made the ^$&#^@% playoffs. I'm almost afraid to say it, but things really do seem to be going in the right direction for the Buffalo Bills. Ok enough sappy talk, sorry I don't have a thought on the game other than...win. #smashthejags #dropadeuceinthepoolintheirstadium
