Obviously there is a lot of undraftet talent that ends up catching on after the draft. That tells me the draft is probably to short.

How would telling us what number a guy is going to wear, going to effect that?

It’s crazy that some of these free agent signings from almost 2 months ago still don’t have #s. You’d think the Bills would be attempting to sell some jerseys. Beasley or Brown.

I would be amazed if he makes the team regardless. If this guy was that good he wouldn’t have been out of the NFL this long. If he makes the team, fine. I just don’t see it. We are pretty loaded up at WR with guys that won’t be issues on or off the field. This guy is someone I see getting very little attention in the pre season and then just becoming a memory.

I hope it’s a number in the 50s. Or 70s. I don’t know why but I don’t like the 90s #s for a Jersey.

I doubt they would have an issue with getting more players drafted.

I wonder why the NFL doesnt just make the draft a few more rounds. They make an event out of everything. They could put rounds 8-10 on Sunday and own that whole week. I thought I saw somewhere that there are more undrafted players in the NFL then drafted. That shouldn’t happen and certainly doesn’t have to. Make the draft 10 rounds. It used to be a lot more anyway.

What’s this guys deal? All I see anywhere are people saying good things about him. Not even just Bills fans. He put up good numbers too. Why didn’t he get drafted? What is he slow or something?

How many voicemails did the Bills get before they even dialed up Coy Wire? Reggie Germany had something else to do?

Any athletic Hback types that could push the current FB or a TEs on the roster and maybe be a 2 for 1 position wise?

At this stage in the draft, I’d say it must be a trade. I doubt anyone left could cause that reaction

Yeah I’m good with it. I like our WRs. Any rookie WR was going to have a tough time getting on the field this year anyway.

The guy that DJ has as the 42nd best player in the draft is still there and he’s a WR. Seems strange that he’s still there. At this point I’m thinking the bills don’t want to draft a WR anyway. Probably wait until next year

What’s the deal with Ridley?

Probably a day to sure up the Special Teams. Last year they were as frustrating to watch on STs as I can ever remember. Probably see a few LBs or DBs with the intention of STs.

I know. I was probably the biggest Fitz supporter around on the BBMB. I’m just saying I don’t think it’s a given that Rosen starts.

My point is between the 3 guys I mentioned and the $ and high picks we already have invested..DT was probably not the place we HAD to spend a top 10 pick on. Again, I am excited about Oliver. We certainly needed at least 1 more guy to throw into the rotation. I just can understand how someone feels this way. I also realize the way the draft fell to us, Oliver was a no brainer. I wanted Hock but once he was gone, I knew we wouldn’t pass on Ed.

I think Oliver was great value and as soon as he fell to us, I knew we would take him (regardless). I think he has a chance to be a very good player for us and his attitude has been a breath of fresh air. The grade for this pick is a point of contention but I do not totally disagree with the premise. I actually also felt like DT was far from a need and felt we already had some big time assets invested into the position. Between Star, Harry and Phillips, I think we were in pretty solid shape at the position. We also often move The Lorax around and at times kick him in to add some speed from inside. I do believe we needed to add to the pass rush and if Oliver can do that from the inside, then that’s great. I’m not upset with the pick at all. I understand the way the draft fell, it was hard to pass up on a top 5 talent. We also at least needed depth at the position. I’m totally on board with Oliver and I think the grade is certainly to low....I just don’t want to kill a guy for thinking DT wasn’t a priority. I can’t kill him because I don’t completely disagree with it.

I’m not sure it’s a certainty that Rosen starts. From what has been seen so far, Fitz > Rosen. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fitz starts.

I guess most people are not as high on Dawkins as I am but I’m comfortable with him staying at LT. I’d be all in for a long term look at Dawkins and Ford as bookend tackles for the majority of Allen’s career. I feel like both Tackles and the Center position are in good hands. From there have a wide open competition for both Guard spots and have at it.
