You see how dominant, physical and tone setting our offense is? That’s what our DEFENSE is supposed to be doing. Stop getting on skates and hoping the other team gets bored and throws you a bad pass. Go get them. You set the tone. You make THEM back up. That’s the whole point

All I keep hearing is how T Johnson is an all pro. We are horrendous on 3rd down every year and guys just streak wide open across the field like Childs play. Him being out there also makes it so we can never stop the run. It’s a complete joke. WTF is this guy so good at?

Milano was awesome for so much of his bills career. For a few years he was my favorite player. The guy had a nose for the ball and was at the center of so many big moments for our turnaround…..how much longer are we going to keep going forward here? At what point is the injury thing to much. We need to just say thanks and turn it over to a younger healthier guy.

They need to invest in a DC. Just tell McDermott go be the head coach. You no longer control the defense or really even touch it. Just like Brady with the offense. Worry about getting guys ready and learning how a time out works 10 years later. Hire Wade Phillips to be DC and tell McDermott to stay tf out of the room

Defense is the most important thing in every sport. It’s the only way to sustainably win big games. If you can’t make stops, you are asking your offense to be perfect every drive every week. That’s why we still have no rings. The defense is the problem. The defense getting fixed is how we win a Super Bowl. Unfortunately step 1 of fixing it is removing our own HC from the room

It’s crazy that it takes our guys so long to learn it because all the other offenses know it front to back immediately

I think he plays instinctively and that’s what I want. That’s how you play fast. I think he gets into trouble trying to fit into whatever this horseshit scheme asks him to do. Maybe if a few more guys got down hill instead of skating backwards, we’d hit a RB before he got to the secondary

I’d love to see what a combination of Thompson and Dorian Williams looks like. I might be on an island but I love Dorian Williams. And he’s exactly what this defense is lacking. A fast physical tone setter that makes offenses uncomfortable. Im tired of keep it infront of you ***** *****. Go hit someone

I’d start to transition White into the Rapp role. He’s nowhere near as physical but the head start of being back there can cover up the speed loss. White knows the defense front to back and can help call it on the field. He also has good ball skills. You got Bishop to run and be physical. Use Tre as a veteran ball hawk. He can’t play corner anymore. Let’s at least see if we can use him there before getting rid of him. Our defense can’t be worse. Start taking swings here

I’d like to see what it looks like to move T Johnson to the boundary. I’m beyond tired of hearing how great this dude is. There’s never a single feeling of comfort on 3rd down…that’s the money down for the slot. Add those two things up and what do you get? We have a big time need on the other side of 47. If Johnson can run with guys in the slot, idk how he can’t cover guys on the outside with the aid of a sideline. It’s probably a move that allows us to strengthen two areas. And again…if this guy is some elite slot CB, why do teams have guys streaking wide open across the field on every 3rd down? These are difficult questions to ask and will be met with thoughtless push back. But what I’m saying makes sense if you think about it.

Our defense is actually horrendous. And it’s because the guy coaching it is running an incredibly predictable outdated scheme

It’s pathetic. I don’t know how a Bills fan can still think that. The defense is a joke. The simplest way I can put it is this and I say it all the time ”if we aren’t turning people over, we aren’t stopping them” Thats NOT sustainable. Get STOPS. Other teams do it all the time

At the end of the day how many chances are we going to give this guy FFS? Allen’s entire career? That’s insanity. You have had so many chances, so many runs. So many guys have come and gone. It’s not all these players. It’s the guy that hasn’t changed. He’s the problem. What are we going to give the guy 17 tries here? Like cmon. You already had enough shots. Win the Super Bowl this year or let’s see what another guy has.

Nothing. I have no issue with Beane. I think the players on defense are fine. I genuinely think it’s the scheme.

If you want me to tell you what I’d do personally? Id hire Brady as the HC so we don’t lose him and we keep the offense as is And I’d hire an experienced DC with former HC experience to help him and just change the entire Defense. Example Wade Phillips. There are probably a handful of guys that might fit that mold

I kind of knew it was going to be hot on the day after but I never expected so few yes’s. There is almost nobody defending the guy now. All these years are adding up

It’s never there because this defense was figured out in 2018 and just been completely useless since. We had 2 generation erasers at safety for a bit that covered a lot of warts. This guys scheme is a disgrace

The entire frustration for me is that we are ONLY good because of the offense. We can’t get over the hump because of the defense and the in game decision making. The only thing this coach isn’t responsible for is the only thing we are good at. What is the point? Anyone else can be him at this point. Riding the coat tails of the offense. Why not make Brady the HC and hire a guy like Wade Phillips to be the DC? The defense is the issue and the defense is all this coach knew….the biggest advantage in the chiefs vs bills situation is both the HC and DC are better than our HC. How do we not even have the advantage on defense in that matchup? It’s inexcusable. The guy is essentially useless

Was there a single bills fan that thought we were making that stop at 20-20? If you are honest with yourself you knew as soon as we kicked the FG to the, the pats were getting in range. At that point, unless it was a turnover we were never getting the ball back. That’s sad. But how many years and times do we need to see it? We were never making a real stop. It just never happens. A big stop for this coach is impossible. We are 0 for probably 100. Enough is enough. That’s not sustainable you can’t expect to win that way

If everyone’s answer is no or an almost definitely no without lunacy the wtf are we doing here? The only thing that matters is the answer to this question. If we don’t think we can win with this guy, then it’s time to make a change.
