  1. Don’t ask me, I’m down 125-60 to my 15-years-my-junior lil bro who has 42 from Stroud. But I say Kincaid. He seems to do a better job catching the ball, which is important.
  2. Just got back from lunch there downtown. If you don’t have ADD, those 142 TVs will help you on your way toward it.
  3. Just once I’d like to see a DC whose philosophy is “Don’t bend, don’t break”
  4. Nope not the injury part, just the Bengals defense giving up the most big plays per game in the league part. I think your bolded part above addresses it better than your “interesting take” reply from earlier to the poster whose main point seemed to be that the Bengals D is bad. My brief research shows Bengals’ red zone defense is top 15, which probably helps balance out being the worst at giving up big plays. FWIW, the Bills are toward the bottom of the league in giving up big plays but unlike Bengals most of those are runs. I’d have guessed the Bills have a worse red zone defense but ours is top 10.
  5. Care to refute it? I’m by no means on the Bengals-are-overrated train but our local talk radio pointed out this morning that Bengals’ D has given the highest amount of big plays per game this year and almost all have been pass plays.
  6. Good post. Not only does this apply to our Bengals matchup, but also I think to the fact that football in September-October =|= football in November-January.
  7. Yeah but Dobbs can actually move. Like climb a pocket and run and stuff.
  8. Can’t they just give Douglas the Elam Notebook to get him up to speed?
  9. Undisputedly the second best Leonard F. on our team. But really, are there other better age 28 Super Bowl Champion RBs with a career 4.0 YPC available that people wanted over him? If nothing else, I am interested to see how we can integrate a RB who had 73 catches last season into our offense.
  10. Offside not reviewable correct?
  11. I like that Cook nodding his head after a good run is becoming his version of Zeke’s eating / feed me.
  12. I’m sorry but who tf is betting on this?
  13. Tell me it wouldn’t be entertaining
  14. Fair point. I think the other side of that coin is that if you have a Mahomes (or an Allen) then you should be able to make due without having top end pass catching talent past one alpha and a bunch of serviceable guys. Then again, I think it’s also fair to say Moore and Toney have somewhat held Mahomes back this year. Dallas might be a comp - not sure there’s a pass catcher close to Lamb’s talent there.
  15. Some are. Mostly about Knox’s contract being way too large compared to his usage/productivity. But also about the lack of Kincaid usage: for example, just vs. the Giants Diggs had only 3 fewer targets than Kincaid has gotten all season.
  16. Chiefs have the best TE (aka a WR1) and like five WR3s. They do just fine.
  17. I could see it being called either way as there was clearly a lot of grabbing but as some point out it was from both sides. My guess is the players’ size mismatch did Waller no favors in the ref’s head.
  18. Williams went after Brown well after the initial scrum and injured him. The offsetting penalties rule is dumb. Hoping there are some hefty fines levied against the Giants.
  19. Let’s see how the Giants adjust to playing football in NYS
  20. This thread reminds me of what I read this morning: New England decided to punt to NO from the NO 40 on 4th & 3 with 9:48 remaining in the 3rd while losing 0 to 24. With a Surrender Index of 39.71, this punt ranks at the 99.6th percentile of cowardly punts of the 2023 season, and the 98th percentile of all punts since 1999.
  21. Thanks as always for the detail! Maybe I missed it, but what is JA17’s UE4?
  22. C’mon who could have predicted we would lose to the Wilson-led Jets and the Jags, and that both losses would arguably be on the offense? Nothing remotely close to that happened the last couple seasons!
  23. Whereas Josh Norman has shown he knows our playbook up, down, and sometimes sideways.
