  1. Wow thank you this is great. Confirmation bias for me liking Worthy and being concerned about how often Coleman is making contested catches. Did not know it was so rough for Mitchell. Going to have to look further into those other guys at the top.
  2. Is there a best source for stats on college WRs getting separation?
  3. Marquise Brown as a rookie was 5’9”, 166 lbs, and ran 4.27.
  4. Do you extend your very solid LT who is a pillar of the locker room? Yes. Do you trade him away absent a GM giving you a Madden trade type of return?
  5. Zay had Andrews as the primary target for a while and he actually had more yards than Davis. Not sure I like Legette at 28 but I do like him as a prospect in general.
  6. Coleman would be up there. Not sure who my second is though.
  7. I do think he can be a WR2, but I am not as hung up on WR2 vs. WR3 and X vs Y vs Z for the position as others. I think he can come in and be as productive as Zay Flowers (5’9”, 182 lbs, 4.42 at Combine). I see him as just needing to put on 5-10 pounds over his first couple seasons. Marquise Brown (5’9”, 166 lbs, 4.27 at Pro Day), DeSean Jackson (6’0”, 178 lbs, 4.27 at Combine), and Devonta Smith (6’0”, 175 lbs, 4.54) are also each somewhat comparable. Plus the college production is there.
  8. Rams? Evans, Kupp, and Nacua would be absurd.
  9. He was in my top 5 WR pre-Combine, so what he ran only really confirmed what I thought I was seeing. His play looked good and I would have been interested in the first round even if he ran a 4.4. (165 “after a huge meal” based on…?) When I watch Worthy, I see Hill-like speed, although a more apt pro comparison might be Flowers from last year but to me a higher ceiling. I also see a guy who is good with contact, plays bigger than his size, tracks deep balls well, and has been productive since starting college. (If your ten month old son weighs 165 lbs, then please contact Beane immediately to let him know so he has his eye on him for an early 2040s draft!)
  10. Fair enough given his size. But I see him bouncing off guys, staying on his feet, and continuing to gain yards, not being treated like he is Derrick Henry’s Josh Norman.
  11. I get the size worries but he seems to play bigger than his size, keeps good balance, and does not shy away from contact
  12. To you both, I’ll concede the Tyreek comparison may be too much (although with his speed and ability to stop we’ll see), but I think he is at about Flowers level coming in last year. Maybe a little better.
  13. I think I want the next Tyreek
  14. Does this rule out a return under the compensatory salary threshold?
  15. I also think the comparison of Coleman and Franklin at the Combine makes for interesting discussion. I tend to prefer Coleman’s performance crushing the gauntlet to Franklin who struggled there but had a good 40. But then again my top WR trait is separation and it seems most of Coleman’s big plays are contested catches.
  16. Worthy was my guy before. Not sure he’ll be there now. Hoping for one of him, Thomas, or Mitchell.
  17. If Worthy makes it past the Jags at 17 then I’m starting to call teams. Would pull the trigger to trade up to 23 with the Texans to hop the Cowboys for him.
  18. One thing I like that cover1 pointed out is he was productive since his freshman year. He mentions in his Combine interview taking a bubble screen 70 yards to the house against Oklahoma first play of the game his first year.
  19. First team Worthy mentioned at his Combine interview was the Bills.
  20. Bills hop the Cowboys Part III
  21. I think I’m in the minority but I’d be excited about Worthy at 28.
  22. Guess this means we’re not Worthy
  23. Hoping Sweat is this year’s Torrence!
