I would be surprised if both do not go in the first round -

Why not Worthy? Do you see him as a slot WR? -
They said another reporter with a blue check reported it

WGR saying McGovern to center and Edwards to LG.

Does this rule out a return? Feel like it is similar to last offseason. Just hope he is not a Dolphin next season!

This! And I think he would be better than any of them in that role.

Seems to fill that bigger WR role lacking otherwise in that room. To me he would replace Davis but project as sharing WR3/4 with Shakir. I will say I am not familiar with his injury history. Maybe that makes him cheap? I recall him being pretty productive last year, but do see he missed their Wild Card game, so yeah I would want medicals to check out. Also like Reynolds from DET in FA. -
Yeah that’s what I think it was cover1’s podcast was discussing. Again, it was re: Mitchell though not Worthy. And I’m not sure if it was because a coach said to or just because the way their plays are called he “knew” he did not need to do anything being so far from the play. I know Mitchell said he does not always run routes full speed, but not sure if this came indirectly from him, too. But yes really easy fix!

Thanks, can you please point me toward where you saw these plays being taken off? Would like to watch them. Really? He is wide open on a lot of them and on a few others just turns the corner around defenders. I think what I like about Worthy is his ability to decelerate, which I think is what also makes Hill so dangerous.

Does this mean we are now the best team at running the Tush Push? -
Watched one of those Buffalo podcasts yesterday (I think cover1) and someone said that was common in their offense (he was talking about Mitchell) because their plays often went to one side of the field. Can you please provide more details about what you’ve seen with Worthy taking plays off? Edit: I urge people concerned about his work ethic to watch Worthy’s recovered fumble play from the video I noted in my above post.

Rather get a bargain FA WR who can come in and be WR4 and draft (even if a trade up is required) our guy in the first round. My ideal combination right now is Noah Brown with Xavier Worthy. -
Going to keep banging the Worthy drum. The more I watch, the more I see how complete his game has been throughout college working with different QBs against top competition. Wins all over the field with not just speed but also incredible route running and even some nice contested catches. The below video is worth a watch. Love his hustle at a little after 17 minutes to recover a fumble after his CB intercepted an underthrown ball. (Also, I think Jordan Whittington, the guy who caused that fumble and was Texas’ third WR option, is a decent mid-to-late-round prospect. Reminds me of a bigger Shakir.) Edit: Also beginning to like Tahj Washington out of USC. Anyone have opinions on him?

Bills re-signing Edwards 2yr/$6M

Great news. Loving our OL depth even without Bates. -
After yesterday who is your WR pick at 28?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow thank you this is great. Confirmation bias for me liking Worthy and being concerned about how often Coleman is making contested catches. Did not know it was so rough for Mitchell. Going to have to look further into those other guys at the top. -

Is there a best source for stats on college WRs getting separation? -
Marquise Brown as a rookie was 5’9”, 166 lbs, and ran 4.27.

Dion Dawkins Value - Extend or Trade?
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you extend your very solid LT who is a pillar of the locker room? Yes. Do you trade him away absent a GM giving you a Madden trade type of return? -
Coleman would be up there. Not sure who my second is though.
-
I do think he can be a WR2, but I am not as hung up on WR2 vs. WR3 and X vs Y vs Z for the position as others. I think he can come in and be as productive as Zay Flowers (5’9”, 182 lbs, 4.42 at Combine). I see him as just needing to put on 5-10 pounds over his first couple seasons. Marquise Brown (5’9”, 166 lbs, 4.27 at Pro Day), DeSean Jackson (6’0”, 178 lbs, 4.27 at Combine), and Devonta Smith (6’0”, 175 lbs, 4.54) are also each somewhat comparable. Plus the college production is there.

Mike Evans to hit free agency (UPDATE: Re-signed by TB)
JohnBonhamRocks replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rams? Evans, Kupp, and Nacua would be absurd.
