  1. I dunno, more looking at it as Boldin in-Holmes out. Still would love to see Shorts, Powell, and/or Lewis grab a spot or two with Boldin on the roster.
  2. Really hoping Holmes' drops show OBD why we need to pony up for Boldin.
  3. Music to my ears. Use the guy how he was used to make him get drafted high. Just give him the ball and see what he does with a little bit of space.
  4. Saw the Jets waived KD Cannon WR from Baylor to make room for Gragg. Leading up to the draft, I wanted us to grab Cannon in the later rounds, so would not mind looking at him now that he's available. Major deep threat who produced a lot in college.
  5. Tough to disagree just because of new administration, but I remember liking how he played last training camp and preseason. Could see him landing as WR5 or 6 and a returner.
  6. Thank you very much! I think Powell gets underestimated, but just glad we have a bunch of WRs competing. Hopefully Boldin to join.
  7. Top positions I'm looking at: RT, LBs generally, S, and K/P. Want to know whether Dawkins is solidly beating out Mills. Interested in where the LBs are lining up and who shows the best mix of run stopping and coverage abilities. (Early guess: top 2 are Hodges and Ragland) While excited for Hyde, would like some evidence Poyer can be a starting S. Enjoying that Rehkow is legitimate competition for both Hauschka and Schmidt.
  8. I think it was pointed out earlier in the thread, but he's been playing at a low speed his whole career given that he ran a 4.71. He makes it work.
  9. While I agree he should have kept Schwartz, that would have relegated Ryan to only being a head coach and in charge of game management. Maybe only focusing on that would have improved his ability in that area, but to me he was just so poor at in-game management. Schwartz's defense can only be so good if there are 10 or 12 men on the field multiple times per game.
  10. Would be all for that, without a doubt.
  11. Assuming it's allowed re: colorblindness, would love to see all-reds IF the 90's red helmets are included. Red pants, red jerseys, and red helmets.
  12. "Belgrade, Florida" in the article below, which looks to be Belle Glade, Florida upon further googling. Looking at Maps, closest to Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville, in that order. Let's hope he does not become Anquan Bol-Phin. http://www.wagsredefined.com/blog/2016/09/13/featured-wags-dionne-boldin-wife-mother-philanthropist-gamechanger Not sure this has much bearing though given that they (again according to the article) have been together since high school, went to college together, and he's played in Arizona, Baltimore, and Detroit. Regardless, I can see him as the guy that Taylor finds while scrambling last second because Boldin just knows where to be.
  13. It's not like we're asking him to come in and be the deep threat. I'll take 8.7 yards on 3rd & 8 or 3rd & goal from the 8 every time. Who cares if he won't do much after the catch if the catch is for a first down or touchdown?
  14. Have wanted this signing since last year when I wanted this signing. Didn't think we had much of a chance, but have wondered if having played with Taylor might be a factor, and hopefully the report saying it is a factor is accurate. "But he's old . . ." 69 catches, 789 yards, 4 TDs at age 34/35 67 catches, 584 yards, 8 TDs at age 35/36 Age is a number. Stats are numbers, too. Who here thinks Patriots* fans don't want Brady back because of his age? Plus he blocks and, like others have said, is an ideal mentor (more excited at that prospect for Jones than Watkins).
  15. Should be... AFCN: Steelers, Bengals, Colts, Browns AFCS: Texans, Jaguars, Dolphins, Titans AFCE: Patriots, Jets, Ravens, Bills AFCW: Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders NFCN: Vikings, Packers, Lions, Bears NFCS: Cowboys, Falcons, Saints, Buccaneers NFCE: Giants, Eagles, Redskins, Panthers NFCW: Seahawks, 49ers, Rams, Cardinals Not too different, but more geographically correct, if keeping conferences.
  16. Sign a few autographs, get another book deal, successfully commit a crime that makes money. Just a few possibilities.
  17. NFL: - Bengals win AFC North - Saints win NFC South - Lions win NFC North - Brandon Marshall and Sterling Shepard both put up as good or better stats than OBJ - Ben Roethlisberger plays his last season - Packers fire Mike McCarthy Bills: - Taylor throws for 3,400 yards, 25 TDs, and 12 INTs (and we take a QB in the 1st) - Tolbert is a decent HB2/goal line back - Jones looks like a more complete WR than Watkins - Dareus finally shows up like a No. 3 overall pick - pass coverage leaves a lot to be desired - 3 different players have TD returns
  18. Sorry dead horse, I am going to beat you. Playoffs.
  19. Agree this is likely a move to try to grab some easy settlement money. Patriots* would rather throw some cash at it to make it go away than litigate and have it in the news for who knows how long.
  20. Just have him post up the middle linebacker like a power forward. Five yard catches all the way down the field.
  21. Williams would be ideal, but remember reading a fairly recent article in which he made it clear he wants to go to a contender, and I don't think that's how the Bills are viewed. Would not be surprised or disappointed by a look at Hillman - he struggled last year, but was good with Dennison in Denver the year prior with 863 yards and 7 touchdowns. Plus, although last year was poor with 2.8 YPC, he's put up the following (YPC/year): 3.9/2012, 4.0/2013, 4.1/2014, 4.2/2015. History of production and scheme familiarity - there are worse tires to kick.
  22. "But I dont see a top 5 secondary here."
