If they take Jonah Williams at 9 I don’t ever want to hear Beane say he is drafting BPA. That would be a “need” pick and it would be a reach. Jonah will not be an elite LT. Others have covered this already but you’re wasting time and resources if you reach in this spot. He will want big bucks after he reaches FA and no one wants to pay an average LT big bucks.

8, 10, and 11 are all guys that will get a new contract or get tagged.

Right. He was also with Lincoln Riley. I remembering reading an article that said almost every NFL team had sent someone down last off-season to speak with LR about his scheme. I didn’t watch much of the Sooners so I don’t have much of an opinion on KM. I do think he will be drafted early because the position he plays, the success he had and the familiarity with Riley.

If Beane’s plan is having Shady back as numero uno then I’m leaning towards Coach Tuesday’s line of thinking. Beane needs to add some playmakers and stop tinkering around with the all toast team candidates. I don’t think Hunt was a big miss he is going to miss a handful of games just from suspension, for all we know he may not even had been an option. They need to draft a stud or trade for one and stop signing old running backs like Ivory. RB is the easiest position to find, fix it!
