Rap: one final hurdle to clear, will Brown show up. He has been getting mixed answers on that from different sources. He was just on NFLN. Brown wants a new contract, we knew that before the Buffalo rumors. I’m assuming the Bills knew that before entering the trade waters.

If they are ok with paying Star that kind of money then they should be fine with paying the anchor of the offense the same. I’d expect Paradis to be out there for 90% plus of the snaps in comparison to Star’s 40%?

If OBD is going to overpay one guy this off-season Paradis is the one I’d want. Signing him would alleviate some of the oline concerns heading into the draft. If the Bills don’t land any instant starters in FA it would be hard sticking to BPA instead of need.

I respect the homer thing and I understand. Sometimes I have a hard time rating LSU guys. You have gone full Skydiver on the board. Lance Zierlien’s scouting report on Harry... -Feet not quick enough in stutter release vs. press -Tends to wear tight press coverage for much of the route -NFL corners likely to squat on and squeeze his breaks and turns -Too upright slowing his route breaks -Below average stop-start quickness to elude defenders. All of that contradicts what you’re saying. All of that meshes with a guy who didn’t want to run timed agility drills. All of that also is what I saw from what I watched of Harry. I also agree all of those weaknesses would be masked by a pin point passer. ThAt’s not Josh Allen and I don’t ever think it will be. Harry is 34 year old Larry Fitzgerald. I’m sure of it.

He looks slower each year. I agree with the Bills just drafting a guy. For a big guy he doesn’t make his own yards. He takes what’s blocked and he does that painfully slow. Hard pass.

Not sure who Brett Kollman is but isn’t that kinda the concern? A body that big and stiff is having a time planting and cutting at 21 years old. How’s he going to look going forward? I think a lot of how teams value him will be from what he said in his meetings. No doubt they wouldn’t want him getting any bigger and would probably have a different workout program entirely.

A one year deal is bad in some situations and good in others. This is a good situation. Keep him focused and motivated. Beane/McD have a huge offseason on their plate, I hope they nail it. They have shown that they understand the business side of things when handling players. Now they just need to nail their evaluations and avoid anymore Peterman like mistakes. Well the hurdle had to be embarrassing but don’t forget shortly after that Josh did the Superman to the pylon beating Barr for six. Everyone has a bad play but after getting hurdled he had to make the tackle on the TD run and still couldn’t. I liked Barr since he came into the league but I will never feel the same about him after that day.

Harry didn’t even run the times agility drills because he didn’t want to hurt his stock. How can you put down Metcalf for doing them poorly and not mention that a healthy Harry wouldn’t even do them? “He gets seperation” but he is such a clunker he knows he can’t run the timed drills. I’m confused with how many people are overlooking that and just acting like it’s normal. A dishonest discussion isn’t worth much.
