  1. I really thought he would have by now. Beane always surprises us so you never know. It may be a smart move to wait for the draft to fill the cb position. We have alot of cap space tied up in our secondary. Having a high quality starter on a rookie contract for five years could help ease our cap situation. I can't wait for the draft.
  2. Jack Butler. He played for the Steelers 1951 - 1959. Next.
  3. This really depends on how the draft plays out. Any of the three options could be the smartest move depending on the situations. This draft has so many unknowns.
  4. Let's hope. If we can draft a shutdown cb, that will go a long way of getting past KC.
  5. Ideally, we move up in the first round and draft a game ready cb that can contribute immediately.
  6. I always wondered why the Bills didn't resign Lamonica after his stint with the Raiders.
  7. I would be extremely jealous and pissed off with our management for not drafting him. It is hard to say if I would still have been a Josh fan. But he is such a likable guy, I could see pulling for him to succeed.
  8. Pat Summerall. I loved his minimalist style. He didn't need to talk and fill every second with his voice. He would let the game be the star. "Touchdown Dallas" That was all that was needed. Another announcer I really enjoyed was Keith Jackson. "Woa Nellie"
  9. This is amazing. Beane is a wizard!
  10. Way over due. Yes, yes, definitely YES!
  11. Good recap. That was fun and sad at the same time. Thanks
  12. I agree with some of your needs, but like most I see CB as our biggest need. If we can draft a lockdown CB to pare with White on a rookie contract, that will go a long way in helping get past KC in the playoffs. You make some good points. Thanks for thd thoughtful post.
  13. That is one of my favorites, but my all time favorite is Marv's famous "where would you rather be than right here, right now?". Classic.
  14. I do not know Lloyd specifically, but if his upside is as promising as you believe it is, your concept makes sense. At some point we will need to replace some veterans with talented players on rookie contacts.
  15. Looks like a training camp signing. I would think he would be a practice squad guy at best.
  16. You have way too much time on your hands. Tapping out. Peace.
  17. Then why were you whining about one word responses?
  18. You need to lighten up. People are allowed to voice an opinion contrary to yours. Many believe Moss lacks what it takes to be an effective NFL caliber running back. No need for such personal attacks to other posters. If you want to start a thread, put on your big boy pants and man up. Since you don't like one word responses, I hope this response meets your standards. And to answer your original question...yes.
  19. Nice job. Very interesting. Thank you.
  20. Though I am a fan of Singletary, it is not a good use of resources to give an average rb a second contract. All in on Poyer, Knox, and Oliver. Edmunds could go either way. Just my opinion.
  21. If we have cones on our schedule I am all in. Otherwise I prefer production on the field vs a strong performance in drills.
