Mt. Rushmore of busts. Is Wilson on it?
longtimebillsfan replied to Cson76's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everyone should be in Ralph Wilson's debt. 1) He brought the Bills to Western New York 2) In his will he did everything he could to make sure the Bills stayed in Western New York. 3) He saved Al Davis's financial butt 4) He won 2 AFL championships and got the Bills to the AFL championship game vs KC to go to the first Super bowl (called the AFL-NFL world Championship) 5) He got the Bills to 4 straight super Bowls Let the poor man rest in peace. -
I’m starting to get extremely frustrated with Dorsey.

We are winning. This time of year that is all that counts. You don't get style points for a win. Just stop. What is wrong with all you complainers. We are 11 -3. Try to enjoy it. -
Worst uniforms possible. Retire these monstrosities. Please.

The observation I see is that Josh has not been the same since halftime of the Green Bay game.' So many on this board are blaming the play calling. I believe josh is working through some serious pain but the competitor in him won't let him rest.

NFL Week #14 - Jets at Bills - Post game thread
longtimebillsfan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
For what it's worth, last year the Bills finished 11 - 6. Currently the Bills are 10 - 3. The Bills have been hit with several key injuries that have required reserve players to fill in as starters. Yet we keep on winning. The AFC East is arguably the best division in the NFL top to bottom. The Bills will most likely win that division and secure the #1 or #2 seed in the AFC. This is a team that deserves our support. Why knit pick and worry about what might happen in the playoffs? Take the example of our players. Live in the moment, enjoy the victory, then focus on the next game. 6 years ago we would all have been ecstatic to be in the situation we find our favorite team in currently. McDermott will have our team ready for the playoffs. Let's enjoy the next 4 games. It's time to run the table. GO BILLS!!!- 658 replies

I hope he gets a chance to show what he can do. I always felt he had a great deal of potential and a very good work ethic. All the best Isaiah. Sorry to see you go. -
Are Bills fans expectations too high????
longtimebillsfan replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's keep things in perspective. Before the season, analysts were saying that if we were 3-4 after our first 7 games we would be in good shape to make a run in the final 10 games. We are 6-1! Not every game is going to be perfect. Last year we would have lost this game. Just like pitchers in baseball, sometimes teams don't have things working the way they want and they have to grind out a victory. That is what we did yesterday. In another thread prior to this game someone posted the question "are the Bills peaking too early?". Now some are worried because we are not hitting on all cylinders in every game. We won by 10 points and were in control for most of the game. The 2nd half wasn’t pretty, but the Bills got the job done. We will most likely lose a game or two we should win in the remaining 10 games. It will be difficult to stay ahead if KC for the AFC best record. KC has s soft remaing schedule for most of their remaining games. We will have our ups and downs. That is the NFL. -
NFL Week 8: Packers at Bills - post game thread
longtimebillsfan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
He did lead the team in tackles tonight. I know for all the anti Edmunds out there tackles means nothing, just like the two pro bowl honors he received. Everyone has games where they are not as sharp as usual. Even Josh has bad games now and then.
