That is a good point. I believe Sunday's game vs Jacksonville will be a good test to see if Josh can refrain from dropping back into "hero ball" Josh. Jacksonville always gives us a difficult challenge. With the travel to London and the fatigue that goes along with crossing several time zones, Josh could slip back into some less desireable habits. From one old guy to another, I totally agree. Nothing better than cutting the Dolphins down to size. Every win over the fins is sweet revenge for the 20 in a row. This will be an enjoyable win to savor. Also, we will adjust to the loss of White and move on. Go Bills!!!

I am well over 50 and have been a Bills fan since 1963. ( my first memory of watching the Bills with my family) Like all of us, I want that Super Bowl win do much. Since the "13 seconds" debacle it seem like the Bills are moving further away from being a contender.

Please talk me off the ledge. I could see this season with the Bills going 2-2 in their first four games. The Jets will go into their home opener sky high. We should be able to handle the Raiders and Commanders. The Dolphins game could go either way. At least the game is in OP. I just think that our team is weaker than last year. I could realistically see the Bills missing the playoffs this year. With all the pundants saying the Bills window is closing, I am starting to think that Josh may never get us to the Lombardi trophy.

I agree with your premise that it was a bad idea to try to fill the void at middle linebacker with those players on the current roster. I also admire your dedication to a flawed but equally irrelevantly position IE: "Edmunds sucks."

I don't think the Patriots will win the division, but I could see the Bills having a disappointing season. With the difficult division games, I think we will split with Miami, sweep the Patriots, and we could either split with the jets or be swept. The Jets defense has played the Bills really tough the last two years. With the difficult non division games, I could see the Bills going 7-4 or 6-5. Based on those potential outcomes, the Bills final season record could be anywhere from 11-6 to 9-8. My biggest concern is the loss of Edmunds. I was disappointing that no move was made to upgrade the middle linebacker position in the off season and instead we rolled the dice on existing players to fill the void. All the people that bashed Edmunds on this board in the past will see what we had in Edmunds with our defense falling out of the top five this year. Just my opinion.
