  1. The observation I see is that Josh has not been the same since halftime of the Green Bay game.' So many on this board are blaming the play calling. I believe josh is working through some serious pain but the competitor in him won't let him rest.
  2. For what it's worth, last year the Bills finished 11 - 6. Currently the Bills are 10 - 3. The Bills have been hit with several key injuries that have required reserve players to fill in as starters. Yet we keep on winning. The AFC East is arguably the best division in the NFL top to bottom. The Bills will most likely win that division and secure the #1 or #2 seed in the AFC. This is a team that deserves our support. Why knit pick and worry about what might happen in the playoffs? Take the example of our players. Live in the moment, enjoy the victory, then focus on the next game. 6 years ago we would all have been ecstatic to be in the situation we find our favorite team in currently. McDermott will have our team ready for the playoffs. Let's enjoy the next 4 games. It's time to run the table. GO BILLS!!!
  3. Thank you for bringing some logic and sanity to this board. We can now come on off the ledge. Good job.
  4. I hope he gets a chance to show what he can do. I always felt he had a great deal of potential and a very good work ethic. All the best Isaiah. Sorry to see you go.
  5. Does a perfect roster exist? Yes, it would be nice to shore up our backup safies and o-line, but if we don't, we will still be okay. Trust in the Beane!
  6. You have to look at what the Bills added in the off season. We don't need trade deadline moves. Beane was ahead of the curve and stockpiled our depth before the season began.
  7. Let's keep things in perspective. Before the season, analysts were saying that if we were 3-4 after our first 7 games we would be in good shape to make a run in the final 10 games. We are 6-1! Not every game is going to be perfect. Last year we would have lost this game. Just like pitchers in baseball, sometimes teams don't have things working the way they want and they have to grind out a victory. That is what we did yesterday. In another thread prior to this game someone posted the question "are the Bills peaking too early?". Now some are worried because we are not hitting on all cylinders in every game. We won by 10 points and were in control for most of the game. The 2nd half wasn’t pretty, but the Bills got the job done. We will most likely lose a game or two we should win in the remaining 10 games. It will be difficult to stay ahead if KC for the AFC best record. KC has s soft remaing schedule for most of their remaining games. We will have our ups and downs. That is the NFL.
  8. He did lead the team in tackles tonight. I know for all the anti Edmunds out there tackles means nothing, just like the two pro bowl honors he received. Everyone has games where they are not as sharp as usual. Even Josh has bad games now and then.
  9. I can't understand why any Bills fan would be so arrogant. Until we beat KC in the playoffs just cool it.
  10. What's happened to the blue jersey and white pants? That is the best uniform in the NFL!
  11. I share your concern. Every season the Bills lose one or two games that they should have dominated. We need to avoid those mental lapses if we want to have home field throughout the playoffs. Focus! Go Bills!
  12. That could be interesting. We will see how it plays out.
  13. The Chiefs are freeing up cap space by restructuring Kelse's contract. Could OBJ be headed to Kansas City? Would such a move shift the balance of power back to KC?
  14. KC is freeing up cap space. Could a trade be in the works for Elijah Moore or maybe OBJ?
  15. McKenzie is fine as a role player, but as a starter or featured played, no way.
  16. Who cares. It was better than the old rock pile. I had the opportunity to speak with Len Dawson at an autograph show in Chicago. When he heard I was a Bills fan his face lit up and said "The old rock pile". He then said that the visiting locker room had only two showers and only one of them worked. We had a good laugh. By the way, Len Dawson seemed like a genuinely really good person.
  17. The reffing was much more decisive. To move back to no replays the rules for a catch, interference, holding, and ruffing the passer would have to be simplified.
  18. Appreciate the response and the link. Thank you.
