Pretty sure the D didn't make a stop after the Poyer INT in the first quarter - unless you include the Titans 1 play drive at the end of the first half.
Every other conversation about why we lost is window dressing IMO.
Couldn't agree more, especially the bolded.
Penalties and instant replay have involuntarily changed the way I watch the game. After every play, instead of enjoying or agonizing over the outcome I'm looking for the yellow indicator that there was a flag or wondering if the play will go to review to find out whether I should be happy or sad. The inconsistency of the the refs and booth officials just adds to the problem.
It reminds me of when Vrabel exploited the rulebook loophole that Belichik originally came up with against Belichik. Watching Belichik lose his mind was priceless. Vrabel definitely has an edge to his play calling

Oh no, oh-oh oh-oh
I have a friend who is a Jets and OSU fan. When Baker came out he wanted no part of him cuz of the OSU flag incident. To this day if I mention that Baker is pretty good he'll have no part of it. Maybe something similar happening here.
Fishing on my friends boat today. He asks me what to play next and rattles off the names of a few bands I've never heard of. As soon as he said King Buffalo the choice was made. Friend is a Jets fan, he was not as amused as me.
I take the 'he hates xxx team' mantra for any announcer with a grain of salt. I think it was Vin Scully who lamented that when he did national broadcasts both fan bases thought he was biased.
But Collinsworth is annoying to me. Not sure if it's his delivery or accent, probably both. On a good day I do a great impersonation of him that cracks up my boys. But I still find times that I appreciate his insights, just gotta wade through the BS like most other announcers.
The NFL should scrap the planned musical performance. Time to shake things up and go in a different entertainment direction. Is Chappelle available for 15 minutes of stand up? I'd actually have to watch that half time show.
I just saw the first comment from Mark Davis since the Gruden 'resignation':
"I have no comment. Ask the NFL. They have all the answers"
JMO, but I think the NFL forced the Raiders hand. Which isn't to say I disagree with Gruden losing his job over what was leaked.
Your self-described scary world may be changing but to me the scarier part is it may be that the more things change the more they stay the same with the NFL hierarchy.
I guess what I'm questioning is the without some cause part. As far as I can tell there was no cause to be looking into Gruden. He was the dolphin that got caught in the tuna net. I could be 100% wrong but I suspect there are other much bigger dolphins in the net too that the NFL chooses not to go public with.
Does it bother either of you that this is about Gruden and what we actually know came from an NFL investigation and the info they chose to leak?
For the record I didn't drop in here to defend Gruden, but since the NFL cracked the door open I think it's fair game to see what else is behind the door besides what they chose to reveal. If there's nothing to hide that shouldn't be an issue.
