No UDFA Rookie QB has started game one since the "modern" era began in 1967. Shock the world scenario here. Just go out and win the freakin game. Legend is born. Crazier things have happened.

There is currently ONE healthy QB on the roster + Brad Smith + Fred Jackson. No idea if EJ will be healthy enough to play week one. Hopeful? Yes but nobody knows. No idea how long before he can even practice. Kolb has to be done. Even if he comes back, he'll just break again. They have a preseason game and almost two weeks of practice to get through before the opener. What if Tuel gets injured Thursday? Anyone think of that? I don't think I have ever seen or heard of a team with literally 0 QB's. They absolutely have to sign one if not two QB's and it has to be done today. Trade for McCoy is a good idea, real good idea. Bring in Harrell too. Leinart or Beck? That's scary if either of those two had to actually play in a game.

Very bad decision to only go with three QB's especially with one of them being Kolb who has never, ever stayed healthy. Most teams have 4 in camp. Injuries are just inevitable. That's just a fact in this day and age. Now they are very short at the most important position on the team. If EJ isn't ready by 9/8, they have to start Tuel against New England. How many UDFA rookies have started at QB on Opening Day? That's if Tuel makes it through the last preseason game. GM didn't overrule the coach? Nobody thought it was a bad idea? Second guessing? Maybe but they are in a really tough spot now. At least they aren't the Jets.

Looks like only Tuel is available Thursday and you need more than one healthy QB for a game, Three would be nice. Yes, only backups will play but we have no backup to the backup.. If Tuel goes down and EJ isn't ready by week one? Yikes. If Tuel (Rookie UDFA) who looked it today has to start week one? Yikes. I knew Kolb was an injury riddled disaster. 3 concussions in 4 years. Puts us in a tough spot. Hopefully EJ's knee is 100% by 9/8.

Probably but I guarantee none of us played LB for the Bills at the time. I and my friends did a whole bunch of dumb things when we were younger involving prolific amounts of alcohol and sometimes illegal substances. Again, none of us played for the Bills or pro sports of any kind so nobody really cared. Nothing to see? It's still illegal in NY. It goes against the NFL personal conduct policy. Regardless of what people think about the law in regards to weed, he will be disciplined by the Bills and by the NFL and will be lucky to avoid a suspension. It was a stupid thing to do on his part.

Lost to the Chiefs who were 7-5-2. Regular season they only won one out of three games against a team with a winning record. Playoffs they got Cincinnati in the first round. Cincy was 8-6 and in their 3rd year of existence. Beat the Raiders at home in the AFC Champ Game. George Blanda was at QB for the Raiders. He was only 43 at the time. Had a decent game except for the 3 picks he threw. Beat Dallas 16-13 in the Super Bowl. Baltimore had 7 turnovers in the game and still managed to win. Craig Morton was the Dallas QB. Johnny Unitas and Earl Morrall were the Baltimore QB's. Both in their late 30's. Unitas got knocked out in the 2nd quarter. Some say it was the worst Super Bowl ever played. 11 turnovers, lots of penalties and punts. Dallas LB Chuck Howley was the MVP- only time a player from the losing team was named MVP. Colts had a very, very easy schedule and caught Oakland and Dallas while they were starting to build their great 1970's teams.

Not to be rude but you are out of luck because you waited too long. Posting on here won't help you with the Bills. In the time you spent posting on here, you could have gotten 2 tickets to each of the 7 regular season games on stub hub for less than $500 total including fees, downloaded them instantly and printed them out tonight. If it were me and the Bills told me no, I'd go buy a new big screen TV and get Sunday Ticket. Cost about the same. Probably couldn't watch all the Bills games because some will probably be blacked out....because they can't sell all the tickets. Ironic.

What happens if Kolb doesn't make it through the rest of preseason? He is mostly made of glass. Tuel and Brad Smith? Yikes. I don't see EJ being ready by week one even if everything with this "minor" procedure goes smoothly. Missing 2 games and potentially 3 full weeks of practice then getting thrown in to face the Patriots? That would be kind of unfair.

It's the NFL. What's fair have to do with anything? Coach said all healthy players will be prepared to play the entire game Friday. I wonder if that means Kolb is playing the entire game? Kolb gets the start and everyone...oh it's still an open competition and you just know everyone takes that to mean EJ is not ready. Whether that is true or not, it's the perception. I'd bet almost everyone wants Kolb to stink the place out Friday night.

What did Kolb do to earn the start? Hurt his knee then left camp and missed over a week of practice. Kolb should get scrub time. EJ should get the start at home. He earned it. I'm obviously not the coach but I think it's crap.
