So, let me get this straight here, a sellout crowd on Opening Day is supposed to keep quiet if the Bills suck? I seriously do not think so. If they are doing poorly, beer consumption is increased, fights in the stands increase and booing increases. Bills crowd is never quiet and it doesn't matter if it's Opening Day or Game 16 in a 13-3 season or a 2-14 season, if they suck, they hear about it. Period.

I don't love it. Yankees have zero pitching. Tonight's game was the worst loss in the entire 101 year history of the Yankees. They should play tommorrow's game wearing plain white uniforms becasue they do not deserve to wear the pinstripes, If they keep playing like they have been for the last two weeks, they will be watching the playoffs at home on their HD Big Screen Plasma TV's. Yanks had a 10.5 game lead on August 16th. I mentioned to someone in July that this season felt like the reverse of 1978. Never thought it would actually happen. Look, all available 3rd and 4th QB's pretty much SUCK. That's why they are available or will be available soon. Nobody expects some has-been or never was to come in here and unseat Bledsoe and start winning games because he was just reincarnated as 1980's Joe Montana. All the Bills need is someone to stand on the sidelines and be ready to handoff 40 times if Bledsoe gets hurt. It's senseless to debate which 3rd string QB sucks more. They all do.

Next we'll be hearing "What's RJ up to these days?". No question the Bills need a QB or two. The options out there are horrible even after first & second cuts. Jets have to cut someone after signing Quincy Carter. Look for Ricky Ray to be available shortly. Flutie isn't an option. Neither is Brees. SD will keep three QB's. Look and see who their 4th QB is. That's about where we are at. A 4th string QB is going to be our backup. Not good at all if he has to play in the regular season. I'd run nothing but T-Formation and Wishbone sets against Detroit and let Zolman play the entire game and give the 3rd, 4th and 5th RB's 25 carries each. Thursday's game is about the most useless game in history. Wonder if the Bills could just forefit?

Plain and simple, the O-Line is horrible. Indy's D is not that good and they were in Bledsoe's face all game. Even with Bledsoe getting rid of the ball very quickly, there were still too many plays when he didn't even have two seconds to get rid of the ball and that is 1000% on the O-Line. QB depth is also now obviously a problem and injuries are starting to pile up. Injuries will kill any team. I am not so optimistic this AM.

La Nova Pizzeria on West Ferry in Buffalo (Best Wings in WNY) suffered $400,000 in damages caused by a fire that started in the dining room late last night. They are closed until further notice but said they will rebuild.

If you think Bills fans are very unenthusiastic, then explain why Scrimmage & Open Practice tickets were gone in less than 15 minutes? Explain why a PRESEASON game sold out. Explain why all 8 regular season games are either sold out or very close to being sold out. Why is it that all suites were renewed and 98% of the club seats were renewed for the next 5 years? How come the JP Losman injury was the lead story on two of three of the local stations on the 11pm news last night? Why do tons of people complain that they can't get into the parking lots more than 4 hours before a 1pm game? I could go on. Obviously, you do not live in WNY. It's all Bills, all the time. Don't gauge the vast majority of Bills fans and what they think by the views expressed on this board or what you hear on WGR. WGR has the same 20 callers every day and the station is in the business of creating controversy, otherwise nobody would listen.

Where did that slob Lenny P. graduate medical school from? They don't even know exactly what bone in his leg is broken. They think it's his tibia. All the report said is that it's a broken bone in his leg and he is out indefinitley. He could be back in a month, two months, next year, never. If it's his fibia instead of his tibia or if it's both than it's longer than if it's just a tibia break. Is it a break or a fracture? Big difference there as well. Lenny P. knows crap about crap. If this team goes 8-8, it's clean house time. Anything less than a playoff appearance at least and heads will frickin roll. 11-5 is what this team should do at worst.
