One game, one loss and you'd think the Hindenburg slammed into the Titanic and sunk everything. Jesus H. Christ on the proverbial popsicile stick. Enough already.

Remember, anything can and usually does happen in the playoffs- especially in the Best of 5 Division Series. It actually doesn't make any difference at all if the Yankees finish first or second. If Boston wins a crappy AL East title then who cares? If Boston does overtake the Yankees, NY is a lock for the wild card. That doesn't make up for 85 years of Red Sox futility. All it means is the difference between playing Oakland or Minnesota in the Division Series and having a potential Game 5 a home game. NY isn't going to wreck themselves by trying to win the AL East. Get the house in order for the playoffs plain and simple. Everybody and their mother knows it will come down to another ALCS between NY and Boston. The rest of the regular season is 1000% meaningless.

Lindell is terrible and needs to be cut now. I see guys all over the league trying 50 yard FG's. Some no name in KC tried a couple and Steve Christie made a 53 yard FG on Sunday. If your kicker sucks on 40 yard FG's and they won't even try a 50 yard FG it's time to go. Nobody wonders why Seattle didn't even contemplate matching the offer sheet for Lindell? Because he is a bum. Buffalo was infamous for it's parade of crappy kickers in the 70's and 80's. Problem is, who the heck is out there that's any good? Gary Anderson maybe? Wish we had him 20 years ago. We did. 25 then.

The wave was lame 20 years ago. Some a-hole gets a few beers in him and the coolest thing ever becomes starting a wave. I hate the f-in wave. I hate it even more when a bunch of morons do it when the home team has the ball. That dude should have gotten flung off the upper deck and had his Zubaz revoked for life. What has happened to Bills fans? I didn't see more than 2 fights, nobody was passed out in or around the stadium and the fans did the wave when the Bills had the ball. The fans performance was just as bad as the Bills performance was. Let's hope we all regroup in time for the NE game.

I think the refs suck 99.9% of the time and yesterday was no exception. A "forced out of bounds" call is not a reviewable play. The review was to see if he caught the ball. The guy wasn't forced out in my opinion and he wouldn't have had both feet in if he had not been foced out which he wasn't. Where was the new rule on not touching a WR or DB after 5 yards on that now infamous 4th and 15? Smith grabbed Clements jersey. No call. The officials sucked. Still, no excuse as to why the Bills lost.

How many have the Bills won like that? Definitley a few. The first game doesn't tell all that much anyways. Look what happened last year. F it and let's move on.

The Buffalo Bills lost. Not the offense, not the defense, the team lost. I am sick of losing. This team is better than this. They better start winning these close games. I am so sick of them not being able to put teams away or make frickin plays. Enough already. Want to win? Score a TD with 1st and goal from the 3. Want to win? Don't hold on McGahee's 3&2 run for a first inside the Jax 20 with 2:40 left. Want to win? Stop a 4th and 15. Want to win? Knock the ball down on the last play of the game. People can blame any play that they want to, it doesn't change the fact that the team didn't make plays when it counted. They were not playing to win, they were playing not to lose and that's when you get beat.

As long as he doesn't drop another 100lb. bag of frozen wings on his toe, he will be fine.

I just heard Sunny and 77 on WBEN. I have never seen a weather forecast change so much in one week. It went from 62 to 78 back down to 66 and now back up to 77. It was supposed to be cloudy then sunny then T-Storms then showers then sunny then showers and now sunny again. Unreal. I'm taking a jacket, jeans, shorts, t-shirt, sweatshirt, poncho, cap, sunglasses, gloves and a parka to the game just in case.

It's the O-Line not Brady. They give him just enough time to get rid of the ball. Sure he got hit a few times but he always has just that extra little bit of time to get rid of the ball. By the way, the Colts DB's suck in a big, big way.

Pats are an O-Line better than anybody else. They are still the luckiest team in the NFL as well. Screw em'.

Sullivan is a first class a-hole. He is originally from the BOSTON area and comes from the WGR School of Crappy Journalism. That should tell you everything right there. He is not objective when it comes to writing about things he hates- i.e. the Bills, Sabres, Buffalo (and also the Yankees) Why he doesn't write for a Boston paper or even lives in WNY is beyond me. Yesterday, he tried to compare the Yankees-Devil Rays forefit fiasco and the tropical storm that hit TB with 9/11/01. He always looks for non-issues, starts crap and hammers on the Bills every chance he gets. I want to find this guy and punch his lights out. I heard he will be at the crappy little WGR tailgate on Sunday AM at the Ralph. I suggest everyone walk by and give him the bird.

New Orleans could have a home game in a dome be called due to weather? Crazy stuff. Nobody will know for sure where the hurricane is going until it almost arrives. If it ends up staying a major hurricane and is projected to hit Miami then just make them play or have Miami forefit. Can't be calling football games due to a little rain & wind. I'd certainly watch the game. I remember people talking about switching the Bills-Dolphins game in Miami last year because of the same thing.

Why don't you get the facts straight before trashing people? MLB requested that the Devil Rays leave on Friday. They said no. TB said they would leave for NY on Monday in the AM and would be able to play the DH scheduled to start at 3pm on time. For whatever reason, they didn't actually leave TB until after noon today. Meanwhile, the Yankees were told to go ahead as scheduled and over 50,000 people were at the ballpark unaware that the Rays were not in NY. Sure, I feel bad for the people affected by the hurricane but pro ballplayers who have lots of money and resources could have left for NY and taken their families with them on Friday like they were instructed to do. How about blaming MLB for screwing things up? What if you were in NY and wasted your Labor Day planning on going to a baseball game that you told was going to be played at 3pm and everybody showed up but the opponent? What a waste of a day. People have every right to be ticked off.

The way I see it, the Bills play 16 games. 8 at home and 8 on the road. They will win 4 and lose 4. It's how they do in the other 8 that will determine their final record this season.

Syracuse will get well quickly on Saturday night. It's still a total mismatch in favor of the Orange.
