My thoughts on Bledsoe and the Bills
kasper13 replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bledsoe blamed everybody but himself today. He also stated that HE is the QB of this team. Good for him, I guess. MM said that Losman will not play for at least another month. At least we knew the 2-14 teams of 1984 & 1985 were bad football teams and we knew they were going to lose. Who would have thought we would be comparing this team to those teams? Bledsoe needs to go and he can take Henry with him. This has got to stop and someone is to blame. I wish someone would either take the blame or put it on someone and do something about it. -
I got an NFL catalog as well. 75% of the stuff they don't even offer for the Bills. I threw it in the garbage.

"Are the Patriots playing a game this weekend?"
kasper13 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What really sucks is that unless you have Sunday Ticket, those of us in Buffalo will not get the Patriots-Jets game after the Bills-Ravens game. It's a FOX "Doubleheader Sunday" so we get stuck with the Packers-Cowboys instead of a 5-0 vs 6-0 AFC East battle. -
If I didn't hate the Red Sox & Patriots, I'd probably have something to say. Otherwise, I hope the Patriots & Red Sox lose. ESPN "Classic" is not so classic.
-
See what I mean? The repsonses to my post prove my point 100%. Anyways, the Red Sox win and what do their fans do? Burn stuff. Tip over cars. Die. Real fun stuff.
-
Houston. I'd like to see Roger Clemens beat Boston in Fenway in Game 7. Red Sox played with alot of heart and determination (wish the Yankees would have done that) but the Red Sox fans are still big time classless a-holes. Curse isn't over until the Red Sox win a World Series.
-
Could it be the all-time, all-ultimate set up to crush the Red Sox & Red Sox Nation? Babe Ruth has a front row seat tonight. Regardless of how it got to Game 7, it's here. Throw out the rest of this series. One game, best team wins. If the Red Sox somehow do pull it out, all the Yankee Curse talk is over forever. If the Yankees win, then it's just another crushing Red Sox loss and the legend gets even bigger. Red Sox fans have to have that doubt in the back of their minds. Yankees fans are just waiting for the ghosts to show up. Something wacky will no doubt happen tonight. No predictions, just GO YANKEES!

I say Yankees 16 Red Sox 12. A-Rod walk off Grand Slam in the bottom of the 9th. Both pens are wasted. Yanks are at home and the last at bat has been big in this series. Schilling's ankle will fall off on the mound in the 3rd and the Yankees grounds crew will have to scoop it up and dump it in the trash. Boston literally has nobody else to start this game unless they run Arroyo out there on 0 days rest, Pedro on 0 days rest, Lowe on 1 day of rest or Wakefield on 0 days rest after pitching 6 innings in the last three games. Start doing that and guys are putting their careers in jeopardy. They could always bring in Gascanic or Mendoza but that's pretty much suicide as well. Boston did everything to get to Game 6 and now they have nobody left to pitch. I bet Schill gets shelled and everybody Boston has will try and throw an inning or even just to two or three batters. At least for NY, Lieber was watching Game 5 at home on his couch. He doesn't have to be perfect tonight or pitch a complete game, just good enough to get through 7 or 8 innings and this one is over.

(OT) Boston v. NY Game 5 Thread
kasper13 replied to CosmicBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All I have to say is that those were five great games so far, especially the three in Boston. Almost 16 hours of baseball in three days. Throw in pre & post game shows on YES and it's over 20 hours of Yankees-Red Sox ALCS action. Just unbelievable games for fans of both teams & baseball fans in general. If it wasn't for the garbage FOX announcers & garbage FOX coverage, nobody could ask for better baseball. If I have to see one more commercial for "Rebel Billionaire" or "My Big, Fat Obnoxious Boss" or that damn doctor show, I will pull an Elvis and put a bullet through the screen. Could Tim McCarver possibly pull for Boston any harder or mispronounce even more names ? Anyways......... I guarantee the Yankees WILL win Game 6. -
Nobody expected a Yankees sweep. This just gives Red Sox Nation a false sense of hope and sets up Pedro to lose again to the Yankees today. Red Sox bullpen is spent. If it does go to Game 6 back in NY, Schilling will start but he can't be more than 50% and won't last long. After the first four games of this series, I do not mind watching one or even two more games.

Wow...did everyone drink the kool-aid today?

What are you.......ON DOPE?????? Win is a Win. Morris had 11 yards in the 2nd half. McGahee went for 111. Most in the 2nd half. -
That’s what they live for in Buffalo
kasper13 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dan Marino is still bitter because he could never beat the Bills during his playing career. Marino never even made it to the Super Bowl largely due to the Buffalo Bills success against the Dolphins. His comment makes no sense at all. If people did not want to live here, they would move. Is that coherent enough for you? -
50,000 Max due to crappie weather

Miami at Buffalo Sunday 1pm 10/17/04
kasper13 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
30 MPH+ winds and temps in the mid 40's all day will remove the passing games and the kicking games from the equation. This will be even lower scoring than many predicted all week. I'll change my prediction and say Willis runs one in and the Bills win 6-0. -
Any guess that it will be a high scoring, shootout? What's the over/under? I bet it's 3.
-
Well, at least NE is now taking our garbage.

Miami 1 Buffalo 0 Last second Rouge in OT by Miami. -
TH is acting like a little kid who isn't getting his own way. He is bitter and jealous of Willis McGahee and this is his way of getting out. He doesn't practice well, he doesn't play hard and he is hurt again. I was all for trading him in Training Camp. Bills will be lucky to get a 3rd round pick for him but I say do it. The end is very near for TH in Buffalo. F this guy and his BS. He's a big part of what is wrong with this team.

Nowhere. They folded months ago. WNSA is now 107.7 The Lake. Classic Lite Rock.

NLCS- St Louis Cardinals vs Houston Astros
kasper13 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why don't you come up with something original instead of just stealing a Yankees line? -
Whatever. Pedro is an idiot. He wants to play in NY. NY doesn't want him. I would think he would be more concerned that his current team is going down in flames once again and he lost to NY again and yet all he did was talk about how important he felt. Lieber was unreal out there tonight and yet Pedro gets all the attention. He can take that 50 cents and that mango tree and stick it. Anybody besides myself think the Yankees would be up 2-0 going to Boston? I am enjoying this so far. Should be interesting Friday and Saturday.

I hope if I run into him Sunday, he doesn't stab me.

(OT) Curt Chilling might be out for the year

The Curse of the Red Sox continues........Just wait until Pedro implodes on the Yankee Stadium pitchers mound tonight. -
Bledsoe & Shaw for Brett Favre & Javon Walker would have been a good deal.

OT: The Yankees/Red Sox thread
kasper13 replied to BF_in_Indiana's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yankees got two runs off Wakefield last night. Funny how the last batter he faced in the ALCS at Yankee Stadium last year hit a HR and the first batter he faced in the ALCS this year at Yankee Stadium hit a HR. Wakefield has been in the bullpen for the entire playoffs and if he starts, big deal. Yanks will be up 3-0 by that point.
