I don't know exactly when football became a "family" game. Who exactly are those Coors Football commercials geared towards? Who gives a darn about some old used to be half hot broad in a towel? How un-American is that?

Saskatchewan Kicker Paul McCallum missed two FG's in the Western Final against the BC Lions including an 18 yard FG in OT. Within an hour of the end of the game, Saskatchewan "fans" pelted his house with eggs, dumped a load of cow manure in the driveway and when McCallum's wife was outside trying to clean up, someone drove up and threatened to harm her, her husband and their entire family. The Roughriders GM said it was fair to blame McCallum for missing the kick and costing his team the game. McCallum himself even apologized for missing the FG AFTER having his house vandalized.

Dallas is supposedly stupid. Maybe they would give us a #1 for TH & DB. The question then becomes is TD not stupid enough to get Dallas to take these two bums? I like the fact the Bills got Losman but what they should have done is traded Bledsoe & Henry to Dallas at the draft for that pick and said "We are rebuilding this year". That way we would still have that top 5 or 10 pick next season + Losman and we would have been rid of DB & TH. Then they could have signed Mathews or even Kordell for a season and I bet they would still be 3-6 or even 4-5 at this point. I don't understand the loyalty to Bledsoe. NFL is a cutthroat business. If you don't perform- GOODBYE.

I never thought I'd say this. I don't care right now. I don't care who starts at QB, who plays or if the Bills win or not. I'm sick of the half-assed coach reading the TD prepared statements on sticking with the garbage at QB. I'm sick of the excuses from every player on this team sticking up for the garbage QB. The Bills suck and they have sucked for 4 years now and almost all of the last 25 games have been painful to sit through. Nothing changes. Nothing gets better. Same old crap. 20-37 since the start of 2001. That record is totally unacceptable. They haven't even sniffed the playoffs in this decade. It's not even fun watching this team. Even when they were 2-14 in the mid 80's, everyone knew they were going to lose but at least they showed up. I'll be there Sunday in the cold and rain. I'm always there supporting the team but the players wearing Bills jerseys and helmets this season are a complete and total disgrace to those uniforms and to the logo on that helmet.

I agree. Start Losman. All I heard today on WGR was that Bledsoe can't play on the road. Well, I am sick and tired of a 50% QB. I say he can't play at home anymore either. Bench Bledsoe for the rest of the year and then cut his sorry ass. This season is officially over, take out the garbage and start playing the kids full time to get them a head start and get them ready to play full time next season. Mathematically eliminated? They are 3-6. That's three games behind four 6-3 teams for a wild card spot with 7 games left. Bills are 2-3 in the division and 2-6 in the conference. To take it even one step further, they are 0-4 on the road and have 4 road games left. They would have to go 7-0 with 4 road wins to even have a chance at a road wild card playoff game. Good freaking Luck. Winnable games possibly look like Cleveland, at Miami and at San Francisco. Let's say they get lucky this week and beat St. Louis. That leaves road wins at Seattle and at Cincinnati and a home win against Pittsburgh. How in hell are they ever going to go 7 for 7? They will be lucky to win 4 of 7 at best. Let's say we live in fantasy land and they do go 7 for 7 and finish 10-6. That means three of the four 6-3 teams would have to go 3-4 in their last 7 games for the Bills to get a playoff spot because they will not win any tiebreakers. Would anyone bet even a dollar on all of that happening? No way.

At least it can be argued the Bills future looks good with Losman, McGahee & Evans. Miami is a disgrace to the NFL. They have no future. They will suck for the next 4-5 years at least. We should put two good beatings on them every year for the rest of the decade and that's just fine with me.

ABC showed "Saving Private Ryan" uncut and unedited in 2001 and 2002 and did not receive more than a handful of complaints. It's quite a bit different showing this movie than a brief boob at the Super Bowl. Every kid in America should be made to sit down and watch this movie and see what War is like, what our soldiers did on D-Day and the sacrifices that were made during WWII. The fact the some TV stations aren't showing this movie is totally inane. If someone is offended by a swear word or violence- DON'T TURN ON THE FRICKIN TV. If a kid accidentally turns on ABC and watches this movie- GOOD. They should see why they are where they are today. If our soldiers didn't do what they did, this movie would be in German.

Jets and Cardinals played 8 guys up all day long to stop the run and they still couldn't stop McGahee. Just wait until he starts breaking long runs. He's not even in full gear yet. McGahee has started all of three NFL games. He has more than a few 10, 12, 15 yard runs. When he hits full speed, he will be breaking 60, 70, 80 yard runs. Teams will have to put 11 guys up to stop him and they still won't be able to.

Blame the kid. What about the so-called adults running these football factories? Who the hell is in charge here? Free Cars, thousands in cash, doesn't have to go to class and has his work done by "academic advisers" What kid who never had anything wouldn't take what was given to him and then tell what happened after he was screwed over by everyone? How did any of that help this kid become a functioning member of society? He may play 5 years in the NFL or he may end up in prison or dead. Who knows what else these kids get just because they can play football. The whole thing is just sad. All anyone cares about is "What happens to Ohio State?" College Football is out of hand. It's a total joke. Just make it a pay for play league and drop the charade of a college education having anything to do with college football. Money has taken over and those in charge just use these kids to make money for the school and throw them away until they are no longer needed or until they go play in the NFL. They condone booster payouts, cars, drugs, hookers, not going to classes, whatever it may be just to win games and make money. Why doesn't anyone else see the problem here? Just totally sad.

I bet Minnesota is thrilled they spent all that money on "shut down" corner Antoine Winfield as well. Marvin Harrison has smoked him on numerous occasions tonight and Winfield still can't make a pick. He dropped one on the goalline and missed another easy one in the first half.

I heard that for the last seven weeks of the season Monday Night Football will be able to change the game if they want to get better matchups & more meaningful games. Also, the way I understand it, there will be a package of Thursday and Saturday Night Games somewhere on Cable TV after Thanksgiving, not replays of games. Primetime NFL Games on Sunday Night, Monday Night, Thursday Night & Saturday Night + a full day of games on Sunday? Bring it on.

Adelphia is selling everything they own. Empire will soon be gone. Whatever the new cable company in WNY is will not keep Empire on the air. The only hope is that a local businessman buys the station from Adelphia. It was rumored that the Sabres owner was interested in buying Empire and would keep it on the air for Sabres games and bring back some of the live shows as well. With no NHL hockey, it doesn't look like that will happen.
