  1. Losman hasn't even taken a meaningful snap in a game and people are already cutting or trading him? That is just beyond insane. Here's how to fix the offense. TRADE Bledsoe. I can see getting a 3rd round pick for him. TRADE Henry. That's a 4th round pick there. TRADE Moulds. That's a 1st round pick at least. That also saves over $17 million in cap room + another $5 million is being added to next year's cap. That's 22 million to spend. CUT Rian Lindell. CUT Josh Reed. With all the extra cash, sign Jennings and another OL preferably UFA Orlando Pace, Sign a WR. Bring back Shane Mathews to backup Losman. Have to figure McGahee will get 500 carries next year anyways. Draft a WR, OL, TE, K with their first 4 picks. That's a better plan than going into next season with Drew Bledsoe as the starter and Travis Henry still on the roster.
  2. 1. Trade Bledsoe to Dallas for a used jock strap. 2. Trade Travis Henry for whatever they can get for him. 3. Cut Rian Lindell and find a Kicker. 4. Cut Josh Reed. 5. Find an OL or two. 6. Find another WR. 7. Find a LB to replace Posey. I haven't heard his name mentioned in I don't know how long. All season maybe. 8. Find a DT if they do not resign Williams. 9. Find a veteran backup QB. 10. Get a first round pick from somewhere. Maybe trade Moulds.
  3. TH will tear his knee up walking through the airport on his way out of town. Goodbye you injury riddled freaking bum. I hope we at least sucker someone into giving up a 4th round pick for him.
  4. 5 seasons in a row without a playoff appearance. 1 season out of 5 with a record above .500. 23-25 through three Bledsoe seasons. 34-46 over the last 5 seasons. A QB debate that will continue for the next 9 months at least, a kicker that sucks, a defense that collapsed in the first and last games of the season. No 1st round pick because we used it on Losman and everyone wants him to sit on the bench until 2006 now. Teams that have gone the longest without a playoff appearance: 1. Cincinnati 2. Arizona 3. BUFFALO Yes sir, there is just tons to be happy about.
  5. Why do we have to read this crap?
  6. Buffalo Bandits first game is tommorrow and it's only 43 days until Spring Training.
  7. Could you ask a more obvious question? The "Drew Bledsoe Experiment" was an utter, complete and abject failure. 23-25 and no playoff appearances in three seasons. Bledsoe had 8 good games in 2002, 2 good games in 2003 and 6 average games in 2004. The other 28 times he was horrible. Time to move on.
  8. The Steelers fans that were near me said that to get tickets to a game in Pittsburgh, someone has to die and will you their tickets or they have to pay at least $400 a ticket from a scalper. Bills individual game tickets went on sale in July and group sales were a month before that. Anyone from anywhere can buy them. Most of the people that I talked to said they got their tickets in June through group sales. For them, it was the only time this year (or any year) that they got to see a regular season Steelers game live. I didn't see any fights in the stands at all today either. Tickets in the 200's were going for $100 a seat before the game as well. The fans were not the problem. When the Steelers had the ball it was loud. When the Bills had the ball it was fairly quiet except when Bledsoe F-ed up. More boo's than Drew's from Bills fans. We don't realize how lucky we are to have the Bills in Buffalo and are able to go to whatever games we want to at a reasonable price. Now if we can just get a decent QB and a K we will be buying playoff tickets next year at this time.
  9. I don't know how you can say "Bledsoe didn't cost the Bills the game". He sure as hell did. His fumble was a gift wrapped Steelers Defensive TD. His earlier INT lead directly to a Steelers FG. That's 10 points on 2 Bledsoe mistakes and the Bills lost by 5. Throw in the Norwood..errr...Lindell 28 yard wide right and that's an 8 point win instead of a loss. Besides that, Bledsoe didn't do anything to help the Bills win. He didn't make one damn play. Bledsoe reverted back to his big game form. He sucks.
  10. I agree. I think the Bills choked big time. It didn't matter who the Bills played today because they still would have lost because of the way THEY played. The whole thing ticks me off. I don't care that they lost, it's the way they lost that gets me. Six steps forward and then the played like they did in their first 4 games. Inexcusable.
  11. I'd cut Bledsoe, take the cap hit, tell him "Thanks for nothing" and to F-Off.
  12. I'm rooting for February 22nd to get here and Spring Training to start. I could care less who plays in or who wins the Super Bowl. Once the Bills are out, the season is over as far as my rooting interests go.
  13. I'm not. They had the playoffs right in front of them and they choked. Losing is nothing to be proud of.
  14. Well, Clements returned the INT for a TD, Bills then held Pittsburgh and drove from their own 1 to the Pittsburgh 11. Up by one with the crowd into it and a chance for the kill and they took the gutless way out and went for three. I wouldn't trust Lindell to walk the ball to the goal line and throw it over the bar. If they make it on 4th and one, they very well may have scored a TD and went up by 8. Ballgame over. Instead Lindell shanks a 28 yarder and Pittsburgh breaks a run for 60 yards. That killed the Bills. Even if they missed on 4th and one, Pittsburgh has the ball on their own 10 and maybe they make a mistake with Brian ST. Pierre or whatever the hell his name is in the game at QB and the D scores a TD. We will never know. No guts, no glory. Even dumber was the Shaud Williams play. Why is he in on 3rd & 1 alone in the backfield? Why in the hell didn't they run McGahee with Shelton blocking twice if they had to? Then on 4th down they punt from inside Pittsburgh territory down by 9 with 9 minutes left. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
  15. I was at the game. The crowd noise was just fine except when Bledsoe played like the ass that he is and Lindell missed an easy FG. The crowd had nothing to do with the fact the Bills came out and choked.
  16. What adversity? Bills have alot of veteran players and they got their asses handed to them by Pittsburgh's 4th RB, 2nd QB who hadn't played since Week 1, Pittsburgh's 3rd QB and 3rd-5th WR's. Pittsburgh played their backup O-Line and backup Defense in the 2nd half. Nobody stepped up today. The offense was horrible except for McGahee. The 1st team defense ranked 4th in the NFL couldn't stop Willie Freaking Parker? The Bills do have the makings of a playoff team but not until they make some changes. Namely at QB and K for starters.
  17. #1 Bledsoe Fumble returned for a TD. #2 Josh Reed Offensive Pass Interference on Shelton's 3rd down SCREEN pass catch & run for a 1st inside the Pittsburgh 10. #3 Bledsoe INT #4 Lindell Missed FG #5 Willie Parker 59 yard run the play after the Lindell miss/Willie Parker 101 yds. rushing. WILLIE PARKER? Holy Christ. #6 Nate Clements fumble on the punt 4 minutes into the game. That set the tone for the Bills choke. I fully expect Lindell, Josh Reed & Drew Bledsoe to not be Buffalo Bills next season.
  18. Bledsoe can go to hell. I will not renew my season tickets if he is still a Bills QB next year. His INT and Fumble directly cost the Bills 10 points and the ballgame. Nobody else played particularly well today (except Willis) but Bledsoe sucked more than anybody else. He can take Josh Reed and Rian Lindell with him too. I don't care who the QB is next year (it should be Losmans job to lose) as long as it's not Bledsoe.
  19. I'm 15 minutes from the Ralph. Will be leaving for the game at 9am. Right now it's 34 degrees so the roads are just wet now. It is raining but it's not windy. The temperature is supposed to hit 50 by kickoff and the wind and rain are going to pick up as well. At least it's not -10 and a blizzard out there. Weather will not be much of a factor considering it will be warm.
  20. Looks like Pittsburgh's Offense is going to be comprised of all 2nd & 3rd string at the QB, RB & WR positions. Throw in some ugly weather and it's going to be a big day for the D.
  21. Bills Team Store at the Ralph has them as well.
  22. Last night in Buffalo, it was 56 degrees at midnight.
  23. Low of 26. High of 48. Freezing Rain in the AM changing to all rain in the early afternoon, Winds 20-30 MPH. Chance of rain 80%.
  24. .......and Mike will spend the next three days eating pizza, bacon, ice cream, hotdogs, donuts and chocolate bars.
