  1. Don't forget Russ Brandon, the board says he's been in football ops as if it were a game of Stratego. ...and Joe F calls out Donnie Henderson. That keg cost us the playoffs.
  2. OMG classic! Who can't love a good CFR reference? OK.. there's about 3 of us. But it's still (pun) funny as sh-T.
  3. Actually, I agree with your sentiment. But I will say, these guys probably file 1040EZ forms.. not much to audit there.
  4. Yep. Thank you for saying about the Bills ownership situation. 3 or 4 teams are trying to relocate to LA, and TP is keeping the Bills in town, because TP is a passionate homer. We missed the playoffs, that sucks, but there are other fan bases worried about losing their team. Also.. imagine being a Cleve fan and tolerating the non-stop coaching carousel to the bottom of the toilet. Part of me think Cleveland's moves are to tank--not for a draft pick, but for a low roster cost, because they'll make money off the TV contract, even if they are 0-16. The owner is a hard core "businessman" after all.
  5. Well played... I didn't even notice that. Have an extra drink on my Pay Pal.. if drinking is your thing.
  6. Dudes.. this is crappy media. Forget about Pegula to Rex/Whaley ultimatums, this shizzle is the real F up http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/14511191/ryan-zimmerman-ryan-howard-file-defamation-suits-vs-al-jazeera AJ is going to be hurt hard here.
  7. Cmon eball .. you know it's true. If we were playing Pittsburg next weekend, Vic Carruci could have posted Obama's birth certificate from Kenya.. and no one would notice.
  8. Interesting. Two thoughts come to mind... 1. the stack of road games is an opportunity for the Bills to actually get good at them, because they'll be second nature 2. so many road games in one chunk.. must mean the Bills have a large chunk of home games
  9. I just had an epiphany (contrary to popular perception, you can say epiphany without your pinky out) The stench of the Bills 15 years of futility causes many to attack even the media. If the Bills ended 11-5 or so and were playoff bound, the BN brain fart would get almost zero coverage on this board. Admit it.. you know it's true.
  10. You said a "regression to the mean" in the appropriate context ... well done! A well researched, analyzed and articulated post. ..and I agree with your premise: we expected too much, and another Rex year is appropriate.
  11. I hate this "We're going to give 110%" So.. you haven't been playing the best you can, you've had 10% you were holding back?
  12. Could be. We did this at work once. We confided a unique piece of made-up data with a suspected leaker. The data ended up in general population within 2 hours. We then had a serious conversation with the loose-lips employee.
  13. Let's hope BN recovers from this and tightens up their content. Fans need multiple reliable sources. Cat fight ... gave me a good visual. Peterman: Well, I see what's going on in here. I am smack dab in the middle of a good old fashioned cat fight. Elaine: Mr. Petermen, this is not a cat fight. This is violent psychotic behavior directed at me all because I told her to swing her arms. Peterman: Woof! Elaine: Do you mean "reer?" Petermen: Yes, that's the one! Good day Elaine. 14. I hope the Bills get the "home town discount" ..after all, they took a risk on him. Or at least the courtesy of a reach around. (Full Metal Jacket)
  15. Do you have first hand knowledge of TP that we don't? I think a guy who turned a $10,000 loan into a net worth of 3.8 billion would have plenty of gumption.
  16. Colton is a keeper. Salas impressed me yesterday with a couple big plays, in a big game. He's been practice squad fodder on several teams. One reason for the team changes: he was poached by other teams during a Injured Reserve or Practice Squad move. That teams keep poaching him is an indicator that something more than practice squad is there.
  17. Whaley will be a busy draft day trader. End result of the moving and shaking is getting the players desired, and also an extra seventh round pick. Maybe not really bold.
  18. Shame on ESPN: It wasn't Fitz's fault at all. One, maybe both of those INTs, were thrown with Bills in his grill. The Jets OL caused those INTs.
  19. I thought that title was held by Patrick Kane? I don't have first hand knowledge.. but his rep is less than great.
  20. Good point on the premium on the QB position. It's an insane premium, but it is reality. I refine my comment from before: if Chad comes out early, he's a UDFA. If he stays for a full college run (is he a Junior, it's hard to tell with his transfers?), he will be a round 4 to 7 guy. At least that's what my water pitcher told me while I was writing a manifesto in my hotel room last night.
  21. "we are never, ever, ever.. getting back together" Ooops, sorry. The subject line planted a earworm.
  22. Agree. Also add the pick up of Tyrod (he is good, despite what the negative nancy's say)... and the fleecing of the Eagles for McCoy. At a minimum, DW is in the top 33 percentile of GMs.
