  1. I'll be sure to tell the AI bot that wrote it.
  2. What if instead of a horn, they had the QB on a shock collar?
  3. Yeah, the delay of game thing is weird to me. Why is there not a huge red light like an NBA shot clock? Either the light is on or it's not.
  4. Why? The post is where the post is even if it's moving in the wind. Have a reticle on the lens. Wherever the middle of the post is will be shown whether it's moving or not. You do get into a question of where the center line of the football is though. It's easy when it's going directly end over end, but when it's wobbly the center of the ball moves on each rotation. Though, if we can have a photo finish at horse races where they can see if the horse's tongue hairs crossed the finish line first I'd think we could have a good enough camera to see that also.
  5. yeah....them losing keeps Miami's rotting corpse alive though.
  6. Because they need to have things to talk about so you watch and click and comment. The Bills moving on from Diggs and having some pretty large questions at WR made that an easy conversation to have. Sort of like having the theory of Aaron Rodgers with the other really solid weapons he has made that an easy conversation to have at the time. Mahomes just won back to back Super Bowls and started the season 9-0, of course nobody is going to talk about his window closing even though, in reality, that whole team is different without a productive Kelce and he's showing his age. Reid is 66 and won't coach forever. Chris Jones is an absolute key to their defense and he's 31 next year at a position that takes a lot of wear and tear also with a massively growing cap hit over the next couple years. If they don't win it this year you might hear a whiff of that come up because they have a bit of a reload coming too. They're 9-1 right now but have been whistling through the graveyard quite a bit. Are they biding their time or are they really just down a tick from their recent past? They still have a number of difficult games left. We will see.
  7. They block like they don't like Burrow. Why wouldn't they say that though? The Bengals have handled us very well.
  8. Only chance they really had once he got that close. Can make an argument that Dobbins should have gone down inside the 5
  9. As a Penn State fan I can tell you, he's nobody of any significance whatsoever.
  10. how many more changes of possession can we have in 45 seconds?
  11. Seems like both teams are point shaving. LOL I don't think either of these teams are a great matchup for us.
  12. Many years ago my wife and I came up with a solution on how to choose games. Usually for the survivor pool. "When in doubt, Cincinnati sucks." She actually said it in her little speech at our rehearsal dinner.
  13. Lotta wind in there tonight.
  14. Why do we try so hard to speak things into existence?
  15. With all the technology we have these days, that doesn't feel like something that should be so hard to determine anymore. It's not really that complex to put a camera in each goalpost pointing upward with a reticle on the output that shows if the ball passed to the inside or outside of the center of the post. Cameras are too expensive? OK. You could do the same thing with a laser. You'd see it hit the ball on its way past with the cameras they already have on the game.
  16. 1986 Dan Marino 4746 yards. 44 TDs. 8-8 record and finished behind the Patriots 11-5 and the Jets 10-6. Keeping in mind those stats at that time were insanity. 44TDs in a year was the second most ever at the time and was only surpassed by Marino's 48 in 1984. 4,746 yards was also the second most in a season ever at that time only surpassed by Marino's 5,084 in 1984.
  17. You're correct and we've beaten them in the regular season several times now. Need to take the next step.
  18. If he talked about their "Championship DNA" one more time I was going to vomit. And yes, he sounded more slanted than usual today.
  19. ...they wouldn't be Wisconsin. They haven't had a QB since Russ Wilson. Good for Kansas knocking off BYU in Provo. That's a very nice win.
  20. Sears and Brand Names were the two big ones at my house. Penney's to a lesser extent. I remember it used to irritate me how much of the NFL stuff was only made for certain teams and it was rarely the Bills. It got somewhat better when they got good but even then you were better off going to AM&A's. Penney's was decent for Bills stuff in the actual store for a little while. The catalog sucked though. They have some retroish stuff again. I'd buy the blue hooded Starter jacket I used to have in a hot second. Homage has something similar, but it's not quite the same. Queen City Vintage has an original one, but it's the wrong size. https://queencityvintage.com/products/vintage-buffalo-bills-puffer-jacket-large
  21. And that's what I get for saying something nice about them.
  22. We play them twice a year.
  23. The middle two fights were good even if the outcome of the women's fight was a farce. Also, my fundamental problem with watching a lot of womens boxing is that they have no power. A lot of the tension of boxing is knowing that the whole fight can turn on one punch, just like the men's fight before it did. Taylor couldn't hurt Serrano at all apart from repeatedly headbutting and Serrano is the smaller fighter who came up in weight class. Taylor's only got 6KOs in her whole career. Technique and hand speed is nice and everything, but that's Olympic boxing. Professional boxing (IMO) isn't about the points. It's about doing damage. You earn the points via the damage, not just successfully touching the other person a bunch of times. I'd watch Serrano fight again. I wouldn't watch Taylor. To each their own though.
  24. Not take a fight, seek a fight. This wasn't Mikes idea.
  25. I'm too young for him to fight. I'd love to have all these fake Internet people fight each other to the death for my amusement.
