  1. It's not broken. It's exactly how they want it to be. If they felt like it were broken you'd see them try very hard to fix it to protect the product. Remember, the NFL put themselves into the same category as the WWE. Sports entertainment.
  2. @Ga boyFYI, Spurs play at home this Sunday at 9am Eastern. The game is on USA. London is 5 hours ahead so that would be the equivalent of a 2pm start. Obviously London is significantly further North than Buffalo so that plays into the sun angle also, but you'll get an idea of what the sun will do in general. London is roughly the same latitude as Saskatoon and is almost 10 degrees further north than Buffalo is. For scale, Buffalo is 10 degrees north of places like Dallas and San Diego.
  3. It seems that benching some of the boys has had the desired effect. Shame nobody was able to push that button sooner.
  4. When you get punched in the mouth a couple times in a row that will happen.
  5. Saints ownership is absolutely not more stable than the Browns. The Saints will be sold pretty soon.
  6. I would say the North EZ will be sunnier than the south in general. The East sideline will have more sun than the West. The NE corner will probably have the most sun overall. The sun doesn't really go East to West across the sky all year, close to the winter solstice it's more southeast to southwest in an arc. Since the silly season is so long now the angle will start to creep further up in the sky as we get into February. I'm just a guy. YMMV. If you're looking at tickets I assume they have a model in the store front thingie. Use the flashlight on your phone and run it over the model from East to West. Lower the angle as you do it a couple times to see how it will change in December. There are 3d sunpath simulators out there where you can plug in specific dates and times and it will show you the sun's path on that day and simulate shadows for various height buildings. You can also look at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The design is basically the same. The building orientation is very close also. Watch an EPL match at that stadium and you'll see how the sun hits it. It will be very similar.
  7. I don't think that's the way that works. In a sellers' market prices are rising. As in the market is favorable for sellers In a buyers' market prices are dropping. The market is more favorable for buyers.
  8. It's hard to disagree with this. They needed one stop and they got it. Rather than seeing it for what it is they both would see it as something repeatable.
  9. Why on Earth did they not go for two?
  10. Yeah I'm done. You win.
  11. 1. You said to pick 3 better corners than Benford. 2. Playing in the Pro Bowl doesn't mean REMOTELY the same thing as it used to given that none of the SB players can play in it and tons of guys opt out. So yeah, sure I guess he has a chance to play in the game given the current way they dole that out. By that definition, Tyrod Taylor and Tyler Huntley are Pro Bowl quarterbacks.
  12. Again, my argument is that Benford is an average corner. Given that most teams have two that slots him anywhere from 15 to 45. You've got him top 3.
  13. Is Sports Illustrated even an actual publication anymore or is it basically a badge that almost anyone car write under, sort of like Forbes. IIRC, they're one of the content generators that has been frequently accused of having AI write stuff.
  14. Here's my case. San Francisco would laugh and hang up if we called to make that trade. Let's understand the arguments here. Yours is that Benford is a top 3 corner in the league. Mine is that he's an average corner.
  15. Off the top of my head McDuffie, Gardner, Jaire Alexander, Charvarius Ward, Patrick Surtain, Jaylon Johnson A better way to do that is to go around the league and ask who would trade their top CB for Benford straight up. Who would do it immediately? Who would consider it? Who would laugh and hang up the phone?
  16. That's not how that works. It's from where the ball is kicked. In this case it was the Bills 49.
  17. You and I differ on what elite is then. Is he our best corner? Absolutely.
  18. Hyde wasn't a cast off at all. Poyer was. White being a Pro Bowl player as a first round choice is sort of my point though.
  19. Mittelstadt has some decent points so far, but he's still -8.
  20. Except when they review them anyway.
  21. I think the question is was it the right call for Miami to take 1 instead of going for 2 after they scored. If they go for 2 and miss they still have timeouts to get the ball back. If they go for 2 and make it the Bills play calling is different that whole drive knowing they NEED 3. Additionally, Bass' brain is in an ENTIRELY different place if they need that kick to not lose rather than to win. With it being a tie game Bass had the freedom to miss. He could go out and just kick because nobody legitimately would hold missing a 61 yarder against him. Now if he NEEDS that 61 yarder to win the game? Definitely could have gone differently.
  22. Yes, but also no. He gets a lot of production from low rated players which certainly has value but when we play teams with a lot of speed we tend to struggle. Christian Benford, for example, is a nice value guy but he's not going to be a Pro Bowl level corner at any point. You draft Elam to be that guy and it's disappointing that it hasn't worked out. Dane Jackson was similar as was Levi Wallace. Great value, but very average NFL corners at the end of the day. Damar Hamlin is a very average safety and it remains to be seen what his higher pedigree teammate (Bishop) becomes because right now it's not a lot.
  23. Yeah, but McD does love him some slow, no draft pedigree, DBs.
