Try the local school district. You're probably going to have to pay something for it and show the usual stuff like insurance and what have you. I empathize with your situation but when you say all the local board does is cut the grass that's probably not entirely accurate and, from a taxpayer point of view, if someone is willing to pay for the time that is all money that is used to offset parks and rec costs. Do you paint the lines on the field? Do you buy and string the nets? Did your organization buy the goals themselves? Is your field covered in dandelions? If not they put something on it that was far from free. Is your field actual grass or is it mostly weeds and crab grass linked together? Are there lots of bumps and divots and holes? Rolling the field isnt free. Neither is aerating is twice a year. Neither is overseeding and fertilizing and weed control. Now if they truly do none of that, and your organization was doing it for them for free that would be my argument. Otherwise?? I'm athletic director at my school and we just kicked a local football program off our campus. 2 reasons, first because they didn't follow the rules I set out for them. They were not allowed to use the soccer field at all because I didn't want it torn up (because of #2). They didn't follow that rule and I caught them multiple times. Secondly, because they weren't paying anything to help me pay for the wear and tear or damage they caused to the field in the way of filling in holes, reseeding bare spots, etc. It was costing us a ton of money to have them there and, given that they didn't follow my simple guidelines on top of that, they got the boot. If they want to come back to us, they need to pay. A lot. Up front. I'd rather my field sit empty and not be a mess for my kids who are actually entitled to use it than to give it out for free to people who tear it up.

FWIW, Isaiah Crowell is available and I like him better than Ivory anyway. He's only 26 so he might be too young, but if he doesn't have a deal by the draft he will be extraordinarily cheap to get.

I kicked caffeine 2 summers ago over summer break. My family went to the Outer Banks for a week right after school let out and I told everyone I was only drinking water and beer for the week. It worked fabulously. No withdrawal headaches and I had a great time. My blood pressure has been lower since and I'm sleeping noticeably better and more consistently.

Anderson or Dorsey would be fine in this role. I don't think Jim Bob Cooter would take that big a step back. I don't want Jordan Palmer in that role because, as others have stated, if he IS then he can only work with Allen during the specific times permitted. Since Allen still has a lot of work to do, if I think enough of Palmer that I'd offer him the job, I wouldn't hire him for that specific reason. I want him to work with Josh year-round. It seems that Palmer is on board with that plan as well and is happy with his life the way it is. Honestly, if he gets a rep as a real QB guru he can make a ton of money doing that from multiple clients. He can make his own schedule, live where he wants to live, work with people whenever he wants not when the league says, etc, etc. Lots of pluses for all sides to NOT have Jordan Palmer as the coach. What you want though is someone whose own QB philosophy aligns with Palmer's.

Yes, but if he can't run a route or catch a ball you tip the defense when he's on the field. If he can't do TE things he won't be here.

I think assuming he is going to come into camp in a tackle's body is a mistake. He was a beefed up TE to start with, if they got him down to 265/270 he will still be massive for a TE but he will gain mobility. I just see so many people talking about solely tackle eligible type situations and that's just not going to be it. He's either going to make the team as a real TE or he's not going to make it.

I can handle it but it's not fun to. For a leisure time activity, if it's not enjoyable why am I doing it? I only have so much free time in a week, why am I going to spend any of that time doing something that is much more often than not frustrating, angering, and downright depressing? More time for things that bring me joy, more money to do those things.

Yes, which is why I gave it all away. The sticker came off my car after the night Jets game a couple years ago. 130am i'M in my driveway scraping a sticker off the window. The next morning everything went to Goodwill. All of it. Don't miss it at all.
