Good god man, is anything good in life?

Met a random Chiefs fan yesterday. He said he thought this was our year.

Would be nice to bring Edwards back, personally I think it will happen

I had never heard him swear in my life, it was shocking, he's normally so polite

I don't view it that way at all. We had big time problems with bad contracts and we had to do plenty of restructures just to clean house. This off-season instead of signing a bunch of big multi years we got some rentals and locked in our core with extensions. Last year we had to break our team, and we did incredibly well despite it. This is the actual rebuild year where we bring in a ton of young guys let them develop and then see if we're in a position where we just need a piece or two in the off-season.

A lesson in patience I guess

Always better to move on sooner than later. I totally agree with you, but if he's gone, and it sure seems like he is, lets get something and move on with people who really want to be here. Looking at the contracts we've signed, we have a lot of people who are over the moon about playing out their careers here. Let's find more of them, no sense wasting out time.
