The Bills will build a champion in this draft
ProcessAccepted replied to Billsguy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He looks happy to me. Really supportive owner and a HC with whom he has a great relationship. Charlotte doesn't is up for sale and they don't have the Mafia for fans I agree with everything you said except I'm not certain that they will regress in the win loss column -

Help me out here, can you share your vision on how a rookie QB is going to get us to the promised land with no real WRs or OL protection? I remember the Texans tried that and limited David Carr's career. Let's say we trade up and get your top choice, is your plan that we sit him till next year and draft the other players we need? or do we throw him out there to see if he survives -

Personally I think AJ can get us back to the playoffs if we keep our picks and draft well. He's not a Franchise QB but he is good enough with the right talent around him. I'm not sure any of the Top QBs this year can come in and win if we don't fill the holes on the roster. -
I know that you are regarded as a friendly on this board so I'll relax a moment and ask you a question. Would you prefer the Bills to come to Lambeau undefeated or 0-3 with our backs against the wall. Which would give the Packers faithful the greatest hope of pulling out a victory?

Not sure where you are getting the "stealing" from. We've play the Packers 12 times and won 8. I think we'll take another win and there'll be some Cheeseheads out there making excuses about the game been stolen. Kinda like what happened last time in 2014.

Who was the best QB from the 2004 Class?

Eli has to be #1. The 18-1 Superbowl win alone is enough of reason to justify ranking him #1 -
Yay! We're not the worst! (According to Agents)

Not sure either but I have to imagine from seeing the people at the list it comes down to the fact that these guys are not just winging it. Heavy reliance on data to determine fit and value and ego is kept out of it. I think if you give it a couple more years we'll be on this list with Beane and McD.. -
What is your #1 QB performance metric?

Are We a Playoff Team with A.J. ?
ProcessAccepted replied to Seventeen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was of the mindset that there was no way on earth we were making the playoffs after last year's roster moves. Will be the first to admit it that I underestimated the grit and character this club is building. Not going to make that mistake going into this season. They're building something special and I'm going to enjoy the ride. -

McDermott: NFL is a “drop-back league”
ProcessAccepted replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would Tyrod ever want to do that? Tyrod's gone. Some are happy some are sad. The guy played hard for this team and helped win a bunch of games. I'm getting very bored by all the negativity regarding T Mobile. He's gone, you can be happy. Let's move on and show some respect. -

I'm not sure I get your point. If you're saying that Blake Bortles proves that this is not a drop back league then that would be some kind of special. Try using a wider sample of data and I think you'll find the results enlightening. -
How Did Manziel Suddenly Become Relevant?

I'm looking forward to the day the draft is over and there isn't 100 threads on trading up etc. -

Right now he's just the go to guy for opinion when players go crazy, like when Zay Jones' incident happen. The guy likes the limelight and it's generally entertaining an odd way. That said any team that signs him is crazy however we should look at taking a shot on that other guy Billy Vegas. -
Sam Darnold Wants to Go to Cleveland
ProcessAccepted replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hate to say it but Cleveland are on the rise. They've got money and picks and are actually doing some good things with them. Wow, I never thought that I'd write those words about Cleveland and actually mean them!!! -
This sounds like something out of a Charlie Murphy story. I'm guessing he won't be part of the process.

If that's the result of throwing the ball downfield then maybe throwing the ball downfield is a bad idea. -

Generally I would agree with you but he was sucked at an historic level. From that one half of play he shares an all time record with Keith Null. But it took Null 44 attempts to get his 5th int as compared to Nate's 16 attempts, so I'd have to give Nate the edge on this one.
