  1. Especially since Beane said in late Jan early Feb that Milano has earned to right to test free agency
  2. Reich knows what he is getting. I'm sure its a well calculated gamble that will work out until he can get a solution for the future in place.
  3. Honestly I think people are a little hasty writing off Darnold. I just think playing under Gase is tough for anyone to overcome. I'd hang on to him for another year just to see what he can do.
  4. He could. I think that if he trusted the organization and their word he might do that but who knows what the Texans would really do if you gave them money back. Remember this is the team who in their infinite wisdom traded Hopkins for Johnson + a 2nd & a 4th
  5. Watson is in a poorly run organization. He has not said a word of complaint until this year when a promise that clearly was important to him was broken. Watson can earn the same amount or more in a different organization that he trusts. The fact that the Texans aren't trading him just shows that his value to the team.
  6. Dude of course they'd promote the heck out out of the game no matter who the teams were. Try looking at other people's arguments with an open eye. If you watch any of the major networks during the season you would see that some teams (players really) get much more airtime than others. Casual fans know certain players names and hype. Brady and Mahomes are the two most famous QBs in the league.
  7. They got the dream matchup in terms of the narrative that they promote.
  8. No doubt having a solid running game makes a difference and that was visible in the game last night. But I don't think you can draw a direct comparison between the AFC Championship and Super Bowl. The application of rules around holding were night and day. I'm not saying that's why we lost but I am saying that what drew a flag in one game didn't in the other. When DBs can play more physically it's easier to keep the safeties up high.
  9. Dude has a leg and it was all coming together for him this year. A good punter flips the field and Bojo is a good punter. No way we start over searching for the next Moorman.
  10. Yeah Spurrier trying to prove that Danny Wuerffel was an NFL caliber QB was hilarious. Here's Synder's record by year since he bought the team in 1999. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/executives/SnydDa0.htm Hopefully he stays out of things and lets Ron Rivera do his thing. My bet is he won't be able to.
  11. I lived in DC at the time. The team was a complete mess when he arrived and he got the players to really give a $#!+ and play hard. Dan Snyder was obsessed with Steve Spurrier and had tried to get him before. Synder was even willing to buy out the balance of Marty's contract for the "Head Ball Coach". Costly mistake financially and team performance wise. I would have loved to have had him as our coach in 2010
  12. Good for him. Seems like a good dude. He did a really good job in DC this year with a total train wreck of an organization.
  13. May be Colin Cowherd will suggest delaying the game till he's 100%
  14. Plus if the Jets make a deal for Watson the Texans will want Darnold as a piece of the deal. Kinda like how Orton ended up in Denver.
  15. Allen is healthy and much better against the blitz. I think they'll show blitz a lot but only blitzes sparingly this time around.
  16. 1, 2 & 3 from your list were the games followed the Raiders game and this
  17. While I'm not a doctor I have heard many times about the link between trapped nerve and getting winded with wobbly legs. This totally normal medical phenomenon can occur with greater frequency in the run up to a championship game.
  18. Of course!!! If you're going to finally dominate a team in the divisional playoff round it can't be against the Jets. 😂
  19. I agree. My post was a response to someone's post being misunderstood. Leslie Frazier is a very good coach and deserves to be interviewed for open HC positions.
