  1. Yes, I was disappointed that they missed out on Baker. But, I fell in LOVE with him watching him play in that first Minnesota Vikings game. I think that game won him over with the fans and his teammates as well.
  2. Josh was truly amazing today, but Diggs was also. He made some catches that were spectacular.
  3. Are you kidding me? Some of you giving Josh a B for his play in this game. How long have we prayed for a QB that had the talent, had the desire, had the guts that Josh has. Row long have we wanted a QB that could give us a game like that. Yes. He's going to have a fumble or two. But I'd rather have a QB that is always attacking,. always putting the other team back on its heels. No, I don't want a QB that is afraid to make that tough pass or afraid to take off running when he sees an opening. That's not Josh's game. I give him an A+.
  4. The passing game with Allen, Diggs, Brown, Beasley. and Knox. Very nice!😀
  5. Just wondering if the home team techies can crank up the decibel levels while the visiting team is trying to call signals or snap counts.
  6. The greatest game I can remember was the 1990 conference championship game between the Bills and the Oakland Raiders. Beside the excitement of the game, the country was engaged in the Gulf War and the stands was packed with American flags and the patriotism was unbelievable. The fans were going crazy, Chanting USA, USA, USA all through the game. On the field, the Bills crushed the Raiders (51-3). The Raiders never had a chance. They were completely outclassed. It was a game that many people will never forget.
  7. I'm in 4 leagues. Josh is my starting QB in 3 of them. I have the Bill's defense in two of them. I have Diggs, Singletary, Brown, and Zack Moss scattered among the 4 teams.
  8. I think this deal is also good PR for the Bill's organization as well. Players see that they can come to Buffalo, play well, and get rewarded. Well done, Beane.
  9. Thanks, Scott. I'm in. Anybody picking the Bills in the first week against the jets.?
  10. Both rookies have talent and good size. They have more upside than Duke. I would think there might be a couple of other teams that could fit Duke on their rosters. I wish him all the best and hope he has a good NFL career.
  11. If I had to guess, I'd say he goes to San Fran or Tampa Bay. Hopefully to the NFC.
  12. 3d year, last year with the Seahawks.
  13. I wouldn't bet that Josh throws a high number of TD's as long as the Bills coaching staff continues to go to a conservative game mode as soon as they get a decent lead in the first half. Run, run ,and more runs.
  14. I'm not sure of the reliability of the article, but it stated he signed a one year contract with the Pats. If he's back to 100% health-wise, he could help the Pat"s offense.
  15. Duke's status as a Bill's receiver is really puzzling. He's getting a lot of negative criticism because of a couple contested receptions he didn't make against the Texans. But isn't it weird that a guy that was not given playing time for about 90% of the regular season becomes the main go-to guy during the playoff game. And then he is slammed for not catching everything that was thrown his way. IMO I am not sure how good he is, but I think he's shown enough that he can play.
  16. I've never heard of them before, but I guess they must be some pretty smart guys. They ranked all 32 defenses. The top 5 were: 1. Steelers 2, Raven 3. Bills 4. 49'ers 5. Vikings See the whole list at www.yardbarker.com/nfl
  17. I think that Josh gets the "extra" , like Lamar and Kyler because of his running ability and his heart for the game.
  18. What I think is that you're pretty dumb because you're missing the intention of the thread or I'm pretty dumb for not expressing myself clearly. My intent was to say that there may not be much of a difference between a QB that has a 64-65% completion average and Josh when you consider all the other factors of the game. If you disagree with that I guess I am the dumb one as you say.
  19. I guess many of you see some QB's with a completion average of 65% and say that's good and see Josh's average at 58.8 and say that is terrible, but that is only a difference of two completions a game. And Josh more than makes up for that difference with the other aspects of his game. That is winning games. By the way, he led the whole NFL in come from behind victories. Stop bashing him. He is a winner.
  20. In 16 games Josh completed 271 passes in 461 attempts for a 58.8%. If he had 2 more completions per game, that would give him 303 completions for a 64.3% average, which is in the range of most NFL quarterbacks. Yes, there are some QB's with higher completion averages. For example, Drew Brees led the NFL with a 74.3 completion average, but his completion yardage was 2,979 yards, less than Josh's 3089 yards. It looks like Brees and a few other QB's are throwing a few more screen passes or dump off passes than Josh threw. Plus you have to figure in drops. All in all, I'm not worried at all about Josh"s accuracy issue, In my humble opinion, it's not an issue.
  21. I would like to see Ross Tucker on MNF . He's somewhat like Romo , he knows the game, the players and what to expect.
  22. I would imagine, we as fans, have inflated expectations of our favorite players and maybe have a blind eye seeing their real talents and how they compare to their competitors. Right now the team seems really solid, really ready to assume control of the AFC East. Do we still have weaknesses?
