  1. Officiating was atrocious throughout. Game should never have been defined nor decided by them though. Bigger mistakes and awful play contributed to the loss more than the refs.
  2. Really thought the Baltimore game was going to be the start of something.
  3. Pretty much this. What’s even worse is the defensive line finally got some consistent pressure but the secondary had lapses and had them pretty much all game. Would be interested to see how much man coverage the Bills ran last night.
  4. It was tough decision either way but no use of time gives you a chance of 2 plays if you get out of bounds instead of the one that was left. Like you said, the TD on kick off was improbable so why not give yourself a chance at 2 plays you can have the better probability of executing? We didn’t need to go 80 yards. It would have been a FG to tie. I like the odds better at getting 2 chunk yard plays and a long FG rather than a return on the kick off or having to Hail Mary 70/80 yards or alternatively risk the lateraling. Bigger picture, it should have never come down to that. Josh said it best in his post game pressure… “Piss Poor”
  5. Your first point is it. When Josh has a bad game; by his standard. The team invariably loses. This team, as good as we are, can’t afford turnovers. Pats played a great game. Gotta give them credit where it’s due. Maye and Diggs showed up big time.
  6. Keon had his mistake, sure but he made other plays. Biggest issue was tackling again. Especially behind the LOS or immediately after the catch. Couple that with getting shredded in the zones on the boundary and yeah, not good.
  7. After his game against the Giants, no way they move him imo.
  8. That post sounds like someone who’s upset you actually contribute lol
  9. Good use of Samuel. Then he made the bone headed return on the kick off which wipes out the rest of the game lol
  10. Christian Gonzales made 2 great plays to have us settle for a FG on that last drive. Was going to be tough if we didn’t punch it in for 6 there. Think if Josh feathers that EZ throw to Keon further outside he has a better chance.
  11. Actually thought Rousseau had a pretty decent game. Nothing spectacular but certainly a building block for the rest of the year if the last 4 games of his are anything to go by. Tre looks like a rotational guy in his career. Can’t have him out there every snap of every game for the defense, so that is something to focus on. Patriots played that game perfectly last night. Absolutely abused that cover 2 and 4 shells. Maye made some great throws behind and underneath the coverage last night.
  12. And here was me thinking it was McDermott, Tre White, Keon Coleman, the defense and the offense outside Josh/Kincaid. At least going by the PGT.
  13. Seattle isn’t devoid of talent. Decent running game and a stud WR in JSN. Not as talented as Minnesota, sure. But there’s complimentary pieces he can lean on to get the job done. Not doubting him but he’ll be middle of the pack in the league when the year is over. Still credit is due. He’s turned his career around from the looks of it.
  14. They earned that respect, even if it is brief and isn’t certainly irrational. They, the Panthers, completely shut down the Falcons and moved the ball at will. New England went on the road and gave them the same treatment they did Atlanta the week prior. Now Buffalo isn’t the same standard but don’t overlook them like it seems you are. I saw earlier in this thread that you feel the Bills took the Saints lightly. Chance they may do that this Sunday? I actually give credit to the Saints defense. The offense wasn’t spectacular but their team made plays several times to keep them in the game. This Patriots defense is, in theory, better.
  15. Agree. That 2019 college season for LSU was bonkers. They didn’t really play any “scrub” teams during the second half of that season. Their final 10 games they played teams ranked in the top 10 a total of six times. Their other games were Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Arkansas. The latter were the only poor quality team. Ending that year with Oklahoma, Georgia and Clemson who went a combined 38-5 is credit to how good they were. Blew the brakes off each of those teams too… That season is exclusively how Brady got back into the league.
  16. Good on you for owning that. Many people wouldn’t.
  17. Setting the edge is important but you can package things to stop the run. Sean and Babich like their 4 guys to rush the passer more often than not and like you said, is the contract matching up to production? Definitley not. Sacks are nice but disruption is just as vital. Pressure rate isn’t up to par for the contract. Think I read he has only 5 on the season. The silver lining is the defense is at the top of the league for pressure % and hurries without Groot….
  18. Whilst I’m hoping they don’t bring Brown back this week unless 100% healthy, we are going to need him big time. Pats pass rush is causing severe problems for teams this year.
  19. You are absolutely right. We are going to need him big time. Especially if Rousseau continues his current slump later in the season. Your other point of him staying healthy will be meaningful in the playoffs I completely agree with.
  20. Guy had a great couple year run in Baltimore. Sad to see someone pass away so young.
  21. Still 2nd in points scored. Put up points when it matters.
  22. Thats pretty tough, like someone pointed out in another thread; they escaped last season with little to no injuries to their key players. Seems like it’s coming full force. Their season might be down the pan if they drop the next 2 games as the talk is Lamar might not be available for both. Definitley out this weekend.
