I wasn't able to watch the game, but I noticed in the game thread that we called some blitzes. Did we blitz in this game more than other games?

Lets just go for Kirk Cousins in the offseason
buffalo2218 replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not the defining stat no, but given what we've seen the last 3 weeks, Cousins has put up elite numbers compared to Taylor/Peterman. Not to mention Cousins had NO beat on the road whereas Taylor couldn't do anything at home. Those that are blaming Cousins for that loss apparently just want something to argue about. If the Bills decide to go after Cousins, and use the picks to either grab a top QB or fill holes all over the place, I won't have a problem with that. Numbers may not equal points but by the same standard, the QB isn't solely the reason why a team loses either -

Well hell, that explains everything. Oh, did he kick his lineman on a FG attempt that caused a false start knocking them out of FG range that ultimately would have won them the game too? -

If he put up huge numbers, then obviously the problem isn't Cousins -
Why stop there? How about Losman and Edwards signed to our practice squad? Can't really argue with that, but Indy gave him garbage compared to what they gave Manning. Gugny believes Cam Newton will be pursued by Beane, not gonna say that's out of the realm of possibility given how many players from the Panthers we've acquired. If I had to choose between the two, I'd have to pick Newton

I can't criticize the move, and how everyone has pointed out that Taylor has been a stand up guy and a professional about everything up to this point, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Taylor himself decided to take a step back on his own. Especially given how McDermott said in the post game presser that Taylor was gonna be the starter going forward. I don't think Taylor fits Dennison's scheme very well at all. Sunday just got that much more exciting

Every Nate Peterman throw from the Saints game
buffalo2218 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He should have been put in much sooner, like at the start of the 4th qtr. McDermott had to know the defense wasn't going to stop NO anyway. Not sure how Taylor wound up playing so skittish after playing reasonably competent up until the Jets game. Oh yeah, we traded Dareus -

Christ, send Dennison home and let Taylor call his own play, geez -
Which teams should we root for !!
buffalo2218 replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah but that's a west coast team traveling east and Fournette's been out the last 2 games. I can't see SD coming even close -

buffalo2218 replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't see SD beating Jacksonville, I think they run away with that division. Not sure I'd want the Bengals winning since they would own the tiebreaker over us, the Titans will probably get 2 more losses from Jacksonville and LA, but outside of that, their schedule is fairly weak competition wise. -
Kelvin Benjamin putting in time
buffalo2218 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just watched his presser and I liked his responses and how he composed himself. Seems like a very well spoken and composed professional, and that speaks volumes toward his performance. One can't help but wonder if we hadn't traded Watkins, where would we be recordwise, but that's water under the bridge. Another funny thing is I bet even Boldin raised an eyebrow when we made the trade. -
How much impact will Benjamin have Sunday?
buffalo2218 replied to JM2009's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we get Clay back and McDermott gave an ass chewing to the O line after that Jets debacle last Thursday, then perhaps Benjamin will get some solid plays, more importantly open up Thompson for a deep strike, and possibly a nice screen for Shady. This is all gonna boil down to how our O line responds after a dismal performance last week -

buffalo2218 replied to JM2009's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After watching what the Jets did to our O line, I'm not so sure. Benjamin isn't a speed guy and any big play to him will take time to develop. The Jets may have provided a blue print for every team we have left to play. Even with Benjamin, this team lacks some serious speed at the WR position. -
Bills have had discussions on trading Bryce Brown
buffalo2218 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Explain to me what difference it makes whether a RB fumbles from carrying the ball as opposed to receiving? A fumble is a fumble -
Cameron Wake ahead of all 4 Bills DL on the top 100
buffalo2218 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wake has more forced fumbles, but compared to Mario's sack and tackle numbers, Mario is the better DE. Funny where they ranked our D line when our D line got more sacks than a lot of teams got as a team. -
Marcel Dareus ranked number 53 out of top 100 NFL players
buffalo2218 replied to pbanach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ranked too low considering he basically matched Suh's numbers and has better numbers than Gerald McCoy. Got more sacks than a lot of DEs that are probably gonna rank higher than him -
Manziel Throws a Nice Water Bottle
buffalo2218 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Manziel's only chance to play football and have anything resembling a career in football is maybe the Arena League. That was actually the Redskins bench he was flipping off, but yeah, at the same time if he can't handle being heckled by anyone, he'll never amount to much of anything anywhere -
If the choice is Duke Williams, while I hope his coverage skills have improved, I wouldn't mind seeing him blowing up Gronkowski since he does like to deliver a big hit

Sean Payton v Bill Bellichick
buffalo2218 replied to dwight in philly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Considering he supported an idea of rewarding those who sought to legitimately hurt people, from a man in that kind of position, he's lucky he's still in the league at all -
Sean Payton v Bill Bellichick
buffalo2218 replied to dwight in philly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IIRC, Payton being caught on audio was more of what implicated him. And since the report disclosed no wrong doing on Bellichick's part, he's in the clear. -
Prediction Time! What Will Tom Brady's Punishment Be?
buffalo2218 replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope not, I'd rather see the Bills beat the Patriots with Brady. No excuses for the Pats -
Boomer Esiason Says The Bills Will Be...
buffalo2218 replied to IDBillzFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh I never thought for a second Marrone was a long term option for the Bills. For whatever reason, there are those that think Marrone was taking this franchise in the right direction whereas 9-7 (8-8) was probably as far as he was going. I was soooo hoping the Jets would hire him, but I can't help but feel that would have been a cruel joke
