Sean Payton v Bill Bellichick
buffalo2218 replied to dwight in philly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Considering he supported an idea of rewarding those who sought to legitimately hurt people, from a man in that kind of position, he's lucky he's still in the league at all -
Sean Payton v Bill Bellichick
buffalo2218 replied to dwight in philly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IIRC, Payton being caught on audio was more of what implicated him. And since the report disclosed no wrong doing on Bellichick's part, he's in the clear. -
Prediction Time! What Will Tom Brady's Punishment Be?
buffalo2218 replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope not, I'd rather see the Bills beat the Patriots with Brady. No excuses for the Pats -
Boomer Esiason Says The Bills Will Be...
buffalo2218 replied to IDBillzFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh I never thought for a second Marrone was a long term option for the Bills. For whatever reason, there are those that think Marrone was taking this franchise in the right direction whereas 9-7 (8-8) was probably as far as he was going. I was soooo hoping the Jets would hire him, but I can't help but feel that would have been a cruel joke -
Boomer Esiason Says The Bills Will Be...
buffalo2218 replied to IDBillzFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only thing SI got wrong was Marrone wasn't fired. That being said, the one thing being overlooked on the Bills is that they're a better team with addition by subtraction. I wonder how many of these moves would have been made if Marrone were still here? -
Browns seem done with Johnny Manziel; enters rehab
buffalo2218 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Where are you getting he has more football IQ than EJ? He was dumb enough to believe the BS hype and his problems go deeper than alcohol addiction. His biggest reason for going to rehab was to save face after his pathetic perfomances. Tebow had a monstrous college career as well, how'd that work out? -
Throw money at Cutler, once other positions secured
buffalo2218 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course he is, just ask meatball -
Just as you think Jets/Pats* rivalry couldn't get more petty

At least award 1 to Buffalo after investigating Woody touting Marrone's horn after he quit -
Would have traded Alonso and Woods plus a mid to low round pick for Shady and Foles

Per ESPN, RG3 Could be had in a QB Trade
buffalo2218 replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Considering QB was our biggest question mark going in to the off season, if Whaley thought RGIII was all that, he'd have made a play for him instead of Cassel. RGIII isn't any better than what we have and I don't care what he did his rookie year. If Gruden was the one that held him back, then apparently, Marrone held EJ back. Can't have it both ways -
The Jets secondary is stellar, everything else not so much. Not to mention while Bowles may have been a great DC in Arizona, he'll still be a rookie HC.

Miami couldn't afford even Fred's salary after signing Suh

Andre Johnson as big receiving option instead of TE?
buffalo2218 replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Johnson never had anyone better than Schaub throwing him the ball, I seriously doubt he's anywhere near finished -
Cutler still might be available
buffalo2218 replied to Davealan74's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I swear, sometimes I feel like this is Losman all over again. People cherrypicking Cutler's good performances while ignoring everything else. Losman would complete a bomb in about 4 games in a season and people would consider that good enough although we lose the game by 21-35 points. Yeah we lost the game, but Losman throws a pretty deep ball. Same concept applies here almost. Cutler's got a strong arm so he MUST be the solution. He'd be the best QB since Bledsoe which isn't saying much at all considering all the QBs that came after Bledsoe. Who are this year's FA QBs that are worse than them? -
I find it hilarious that dolphin fans think they're one Suh away from playoff contention. If they lose Clay, who would they have on offense that anyone would be scared of? Tannehill is probably the most overrated QB there is. LaMar Miller, hell I have to think just to remember who he is. Wallace they're trying to get rid of. Stephen Ross pulling a Daniel Snyder bodes very well for rest of the AFC East

Cutler still might be available
buffalo2218 replied to Davealan74's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who in this league acted anything like Cutler has? Oh yeah, Jeff George. Cutler lacks ANY and I mean ANY KIND of leadership skill. You're gonna tell me that's not a factor for the QB position? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out Cutler has pissed off other coaches. What basis do you need exactly? Cutler is the BIGGEST joke of a pro football player I've ever seen outside of Jeff George. 3800 yards 28 TDs 18 INTs with 9 fumbles, how much of those TDs and yards came in garbage time? Whaley's not that stupid to either pick up his contract or sign him just to watch him act like an ass and play like garbage. -
Cutler still might be available
buffalo2218 replied to Davealan74's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Making up what?? What does a pro bowl QB mean in this day and age? If Cutler was a pro bowl QB, it was because a real pro bowl QB couldn't play -
Cutler still might be available
buffalo2218 replied to Davealan74's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rex never had to deal with anybody with Cutler's attitude either, you're sorely mistaken if you think Ryan would let Cutler get away with that. One word describes Cutler, has been and even that's a compliment. He was a crybaby in Denver and pathetic in Chicago. Don't need anything like that in our locker room. Screw Cutler -
Cutler still might be available
buffalo2218 replied to Davealan74's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Believe what? We already had this discussion in the shout box. Ryan wouldn't tolerate Cutler's pouty attitude and Wood would probably b-slap him all the way to the sideline after another infamous ill-timed pick. Cutler isn't worth $1 of our cap or 1 second of our time -
Say McCoy refuses to be a Bill. Would you...
buffalo2218 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Many thanks, McCoy will be happy enough watching a real defense compared to what Philly had -
So... who we gonna trade for today??
buffalo2218 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh yeah, good point. But by the same token, Foles didn't either so it'd be cool
