With how much money they have tied up in Cutler, it's gonna be a long time til the Bears can rebuild any other part of the team. McCown very well could be at the very least competition for a QB from the draft if Cutler got shipped off. But for them to do a complete rebuild on one side of the ball, they'll never be able to with Cutler's crazy inflated contract.

RGIII was nothing more than figured out, then he showed he couldn't adjust. Guys like him and Kaepernick are having the hardest time making the transition from a running QB to a pocket passer. I don't condone just handing EJ the job and Ryan won't make the mistake of putting all his eggs in one EJ basket. The more apt description of EJ is he doesn't have it YET. Not sure our strength was gutted, if anything at least, the defense won't lose a step. At best, it'll rise to the #1 defense in the league.
