  1. Twice without Watson?!?! Did you not see the 50 burger he put up on Tennessee? He didn't play the Titans the second time because of his knee injury
  2. Ok let's be fair here not to mention realistic. You're actually gonna say the Bills still would have made the playoffs had Watson's season not been cut short? Houston would have taken that division and Tennessee would have had the wild card. Watson was playing every bit as good as any QB at the time he got hurt
  3. Lol that wasn't a shot at McMahaon, far from it. But as it's been mentioned by a lot of people, pro football is almost seeming like it's scripted. Well, that's right up McMahon's alley. Got me to thinking about something. Isn't it odd that 2 QBs ended up with knee injuries that were playing probably better than Brady? Watson lost to Brady, but probably wouldn't have if he didn't get hurt and Houston made the playoffs. Then there's Carson Wentz who was staring at league MVP in the face before his knee got wrecked. And if he didn't get hurt and was starting the SB, Brady probably wouldn't stand a chance in hell of winning.
  4. What's to underestimate? He's in the entertainment business, the NFL is becoming his kind of entertainment. Guess he figures he has a shot now
  5. No way Smith is worth a first given his age. You'd trade a first for a guy that may play 2 more years?
  6. Why in the world would we turn around and give KC's first round pick back for Alex Smith?
  7. I might agree with signing Bradford if we had an o line good enough for pass protection. As it stands, there's no way we could keep Bradford upright and he'd probably last all of 2 weeks in to the season
  8. My biggest question is whether or not the Bills make a move before the draft. Didn't the Eagles and Rams do their trading like months before the draft?
  9. Actually it's gonna keep the Titans from doing much of anything from here on. Tennessee won't do much of anything watching the Texans and Jags fight over the division
  10. I wouldn't mind Cousins coming here. People are saying he'd have a good RB in Shady to work with, but Shady isn't the only thing he'd have going for him. The thought of Cousins to Benjamin is every bit as intriguing, not to mention Clay as well. A lot of people criticized Taylor for not trusting his receivers enough, but I don't believe that would be an issue with Cousins. If we go in to the draft and build up talent with our slew of picks, or even trade up for one of the top QBs, it'll massively make it quite an exciting off season
  11. Exactly what I was thinking lol
  12. Taylor may not be a good passer in Dennison's system, but that doesn't excuse Dennison's god awful play calling and far too conservative and predictable approach when the Bills had a lead. The defense really bailed him out quite a few times
  13. While Taylor may have missed open receivers, that doesn't excuse Dennison's god awful play calling and way too conservative approach once the Bills have a lead. I mean a 2nd and 25 and you hand the ball off to Tolbert? If the Bills cut both loose, I won't lose any sleep over it
  14. As pointed out, we have a head coach with a vision. The fact that he got players to buy in should speak more volumes than our playoff appearance. Micah Hyde said at one point he wasn't interested in playing for Buffalo, now he loves it. The compliments guys like Hyde make will open a path to Buffalo for free agents.
  15. The Peterman fiasco could also boost his chances as well. He overcame what a lot considered to be a huge mistake and still got to the playoffs with a far less talented roster than McVay
  16. I can appreciate Taylor's contribution to getting us in, but moving on is the only option barring a deep playoff run. Only then will there be consideration. I think the turnovers we forced contributed as much if not more than Taylor
  17. Browsing the Phins board, some are being civil but some are also being as salty as hell. The fact that we celebrate the end of the drought in Miami, in their own stadium is sheer bliss in itself. And I hope every Phins player and Adam Gase heard every scream
  18. Gotta give honorable mention to the fact that the Bills lockeroom in Miami was louder than the stadium was all day once Boyd scored that TD
  19. Can't argue that if I tried. But in Taylor's benching case, taking a step back may have helped him take 2 forward. The end result speaks louder than the assumptions of the decision being a mistake.
  20. I'm not fully convinced the Colts will let go of Luck
  21. Ok so let me get straight. Taylor throws for 56 yards at home against the Saints, yeah the Saints were good but were they so good as to say Taylor was in an impossible situation to play any better than that? Everyone acts like a starting QB has never been benched in this league because of poor performance. McDermott fully knew his team was in playoff contention and not one person has posted a single thing about proof Taylor would have been the difference maker against SD. For that matter, neither have the media. In Taylor's defense I will say that Dennison was not the best fit as an OC, but every bit of this criticism McDermott's been getting is moot now. The Bills are in the playoffs, the slate is wiped clean as far as I'm concerned.
  22. 3 and out punts amount to the same thing in terms of scoring, or in this case not scoring. Say what you want, but people arguing just to argue will never admit that even if Taylor had started, it'd still have been a loss. McDermott saw, like the rest of us, how bad Taylor really was against the Saints. Benching Taylor may have actually done him some good. It was a positive result regardless because now were in the playoffs
  23. Ok here's reasonable. TT 3 and outs with very few completions, is sacked about 6 times in the first half. But hey, he didn't throw 1 single pick. Bills still lose
  24. ANY QB would look elite playing against a team that has a 30 point lead dude. As for trying to rewrite history, that's the last thing I'm doing. In fact, at that point if history serves, Taylor was getting sacked left and right. The O line was getting blown up with Peterman in and you chalk it up to the Bills playing better in the second half? So in the first half, given the amount of times Taylor was sacked before, how would Taylor have fared?
  25. Thank you, been trying to point that out
