What gets said at this point doesn’t matter. Pundits can say what they want. They could say we’re either gonna get blown out or steamroll the Jets, or either will win a close game. Point is they know about as much as we do, which is nothing. I read what they say but put absolutely no stock in it. Out of all Bills fans and all pundits from last year, who actually thought Matt Barkley would go in to met life and leave the Jets a pummeled, bloody mess with a much worse O line? Forget who says what and let what happens on Sunday unfold on its own

What kind of example would Mayock be setting if he just let it slide? Brown is more anti-team than anything. Last thing any team needs is an example like that set for everyone else

His work ethic obviously went out the door when he suckered Oakland. What's gonna be interesting is how he's gonna react when other teams turn him down flat if he does get cut

Great post Shaw, as always. The threads you post here are every bit as interesting as the ones you posted on BB.com. I'm always gonna be the type to put my optimism in check, as yourself and many others have said, the first game win or lose will tell a lot of the story on the season. I wanna believe Allen will show he's progressed, but blind faith has failed me too many times before. All I can do is hope the kid surprises us all. I'm actually more interested in how our defense is gonna be this year, mainly Edmunds and Oliver. We didn't get to see much of Hughes in the preseason, so I'm anxious to see how he does. My biggest question mark is with Singletary. He's got some pretty big shoes to fill with Shady being cut. I'll admit that he seems to have great vision, but to me lacks a bit of burst. I hope he has a hell of a rookie year just the same. Thanks again Shaw, looking forward to reading more of the Rockpile Review

Living in Tennessee, I don't think there's anywhere I can go. Before the Titans, they showed Bills games here frequently. I told some people here I'd drive the crane with a wrecking ball for free tearing down their stadium if the Titans left. That didn't go over so well

In reality, this is Zay’s 3rd year in the league. He hasn’t done all bad but he’s nowhere near the miles ahead of Williams that you’re making him out to be. Williams, despite how you try to downplay what he’s done up to this point, has produced more than Jones. Against whoever is beside the point. Jones did himself NO favors dropping a perfectly thrown pass against Indy. And I don’t care what numbers you pull up, as I stated before, when grooming a QB to be the franchise QB, dropping passes that are catchable will get WR bumped down if not worse
