  1. I thought Allen looked a little hesitant as well, but as Sal C noted after the game, the Cheats were running 6-7 dbs in a field already compressed by the wind. Really tough to judge without All-22. Another growth game by Allen, imho
  2. Sal's the best thing on WGR...
  3. Mentioned on One Bills Live that a significant reason for piping in fan noise is to prevent teams and coaching staffs, both at the event and watching on television, from picking up defensive calls.
  4. Well spoken guy - he LOVES Buffalo and its fans!
  5. Agree generally, but MLK referred to white moderates as a disappointment, not as dangerous: http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/45a/060.html
  6. Does Two Bills Drive have an official Poet Laureate? I'd nominate Shaw66, but I don't know if his Dolphins haiku equals his prose...
  7. Amazing to me how different the takes are: I think Murphy's great - a consummate pro who keeps the conversation moving, not a stat geek or a football guru but very knowledgeable about the Bills, and the NFL in general. Outstanding voice for radio, so glad he stays for the play by play. Doubt I'll listen going forward, sadly...

  9. No, but it's amusing, esp, when the rider looks stronger than the horse -

  11. Interview starts around minute 30:30. A great listen: https://wgr550.radio.com/media/audio-channel/2-27-hr-2-one-bills-live-at-the-nfl-combine
  12. Interesting article from the dark side [Boston]: https://bostonsportsmedia.com/2014/06/04/can-pro-football-focus-stats-be-blindly-trusted/
  13. Say what you will about Murphy [I happen to think he's excellent], but he's got a great radio voice.
  14. 2450 posts, 100 pages! How long is this thread going to be when JA retires from the Bills in 15 years?
  15. He did the same thing to Allen last week, but no fumble. Should be a personal foul against Watt, the angle of the punch both time was straight for the nuts.
  16. Elivs Costello - Pump It Up
  17. I'd wait until the coverage map comes out later in the week before you start making plans. It's been years since they haven't shown a Bills game in Rochester, and have to believe that this one will be shown as well.
  18. He's gotta figure out a way to start better. Even when he's "on", the 1st quarter is usually wasted on Allen getting his head into the game, or getting rid of nervous energy that causes him to overthrown the ball. Seriously, I think the Bills should make him run laps for half an hour pre-game to calm him down.
  19. At least we'll get a couple of weeks of tape on him. Hate to be the first team to face him, even a 3d stringer.
  20. I agree with all of this - I'm a total Allen fan-boy. What I don't understand is: Allen with his high Wonderlic has trouble making pre- and post-snap reads quickly - how is it that Lamar Jackson with his low Wonderlic score does not, or does Jackson's scheme not require him to make these reads.
  21. It's official: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/639238-philadelphia-sports-fans-voted-worst-in-american-by-gq-magazine
  22. I looked it up - Ty Nsekhe had 17 snaps yesterday. Anyone notice if he was appreciably better the Ford when he was in? That was always my impression leading up to Nsehke's injury, but it's hard to judge O-line performance watching the game once on tv...
  23. Yes it was.. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2018/06/wgr_producer_follows_through_on_quitting_due_to_buffalo_bills_drafting_josh_alle.html%3foutputType=amp
