Guess my question is whether a player this new to his rookie contract can be - or commonly are - traded.

Any reason the Bills couldn't trade Ragland who - many say - is not a great fit in McDermott's defense - for a more mobile LB, or a safety. Should be a good player in the right system, and cheap as well under the rookie contract.

Does anyone find it strange that there is so little public information on what the Bills organization really thinks of Jones. Could it be that they don't want to tip their hat vis-a-vis negotiations with Tyrod, with Romo or other free agents, how high they're likely to draft a QB?

People keep mentioning that CJ lost the starting job at OSU: the biggest reason for that was not lack of ability, it was that Urban Meyers wanted a spread quarterback, and that is not CJ. [nor has ability to run the spread proven very useful for QBs who move from college to the pros] From Cleveland.com in 2015: "Jones is a pro-style square peg in a spread-option round hole. Ohio State had some pieces to adapt its offense more to Jones' strengths last year, and it doesn't really have that now. What Ohio State has should work much better with Barrett running things."

Heard Steve Tasker the other day liken him to Roethlisberger because of his ability to make the big play, the kind that wins games in the 4th quarter - Tasker seemed very high on him. And did anyone see him jawing with Muhammed Wilkerson on his very first set as a pro player - both of them were smiling - love it! The guy's got tremendous self-confidence.

He's not dressing for games. Are we unlikely to get a sense of his development until OTA's in the spring when, presumably, he's our #2 QB?

Actually, I think Cardale's confidence is bullet-proof - def. a strong point and valuable commodity for an NFL QB.

No one has discussed this yet. Our "shut down" corners were a disaster. Do two good players simply have a bad game on the same day?

How is it that CJ spends the off-season working with a QB coach - George Whitfield - who instructed him on how to step back from under center, then he gets to mini-camp and David Lee tells him that that's all wrong, he should step back another way? I don't know which coach is right, but I would have thought there would be some agreement as to a basic QB skill such as this. Now CJ has to unlearn a technique he just learned. And, who know what techniques he was taught at OSU, then at high school before that. Is there agreement among QB coaches as to technique - seems not. A little scary, given that David Lee doesn't seem to have a record as a quarterback whisperer.

If things had worked out differently - Kubiak made a push for Taylor last winter - Taylor might already have a Super Bowl ring, in fact, he may have been the Super Bowl starting QB last month. Glad he's a Bill.

Who's call is firing the DC - is it really up to Rex? Seems to me it's ultimately Pegula's call, and if Rex is unhappy with losing his friend if he's fired, Rex can walk out on the contract, which at this point wouldn't bother me too much.

Remember, we want to know if Karlos and Sammy are playing, but it's totally in the Bills interest to keep that question unsettled as long as possible.

Does buying a pre-paid pass for a game [e.g. the Dolphins game] on StubHub guarantee a parking spot,? FYI, I'd like to park in Lot 1 for the game. Don't see the advantage in paying market rate [$32} for a pre-paid pass if I can just show up at the lot and pay $20 - unless it's a guaranteed spot, regardless of what time you arrive. Thanks...

Can the defense cut block a receiver, i.e. Gronkowski, in the first five yards?

Heard an interesting call on WGR yesterday - the caller's theory was that Taylor's contract provides that he's a free agent if he starts more than 50% of the games this season, whereas if he doesn't start 50% of the games, he's locked in for two more years, so there's added incentive to start Cassel at the start of the season. If Taylor's "the man", I can't believe the team wouldn't start him, regardless of the $$s involved. Thoughts?

So, a week ago I got tickets (100 level) to the dolphins game instantly on NFL ticket exchange. What's the source of these tix if season tickets had not been released yet?
