  1. ditto - outstanding summary
  2. Corey Bojorquez is going to punt the Vikings into submission!
  3. amazing stat: Dropbacks when trailing by 25+ points in regular season since 2001 Tom Brady - 30 Josh Allen - 25 [Source: ESPN]

  5. So what game plan do you dial up for Allen? I say the emphasis should be on keeping him in one piece: 2 or 3 tight ends constantly on the field, always have a safety-valve for a dump off. Winning this game - and the next couple - should be a secondary consideration.
  6. OK, so extreme newbie question: where can a NY resident place a bet on-line. Went to Boveda - mentioned above, won't let me register.
  7. Great sticky post idea - every other game gets a thread started by someone asking the same question again ... and again. I'm no expert, but a section on traffic would be useful, like busiest and least busiest routes in, time stuck in traffic in and out - depending on the time arrival/departure and route.
  8. To my eye, Daboll is the QB coach - he and Allen are joined at the hip. I'm guessing he's just there to reinforce whatever Daboll is telling Allen to do.
  9. This is like when Tom Branson, the Irish chauffeur, marries Lady Sybil on Downton Abbey ... wait, wrong crowd.
  10. Peterman will start, Allen should start, but gotta trust the Process. Allen def. comes in after week 4.
  11. Yep, ESPN was pretty gushy about Allen at 6am this morning.
  12. Speaking of which, exactly how is Holmes so valuable to special teams that he's irreplaceable? He has always seemed a very mediocre wide receiver...
  13. On WGR now, likeable kid, seems humble.
  14. 2016 highlight reel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2adMizhNto
  15. Chris Brown on WGR says the issue with Coleman isn't his physical skills, it is [and hasa been] his ability to learn a playbook and read defenses - and he's starting late as it is.
  16. Astro is Buffalo [well, Rochester's] own Roger Angell!
  17. Not letting me favorite WGR, which is why - I think - that I can only get it to play on Android Auto if the app is up and running on my phone before I connect to phone to the car and open Radio.com. It will not save the station.
  18. "Oh, and as for the short passes, the Bills are saying that he threw very few if any of those in college and it's almost a new skill for him." Allen said this himself on WGR the other day - he said it's like learning to chip in a golf ball from 10 yds out with a 4 iron.
  19. from AZ forum [camp notes 7/29]: Highlights:- Bradford is as advertised. Deadly accurate. Clearly best QB on the field. - #91 DE Benson Mayowa. He was extremely fast and bendy like Chandler Jones. He dominated vs OL drills. 100% looks like a camp gem, at the moment. - Mason Cole looked really good. Granted I only saw 2 reps vs DLs, but he stonewalled the guy both times. - I really like the team organized stretching. Just makes it seem like a team. Regimented. - TJ Logan looked very good running the ball. *However he did drop 1 punt.- Reddick looked good. Especially in coverage. Almost got an INT. - Tre Boston looked pretty good. I think he starts next to Baker or Bethea depending on package. - PP looked like PP. Gonna be another pro bowl year. - New RT Andre Smith looked OK. Better than expected. Fast guys give him trouble, but he can stuff a bullrush with ease.- Rosen looks like a mini Bradford. Throws a beautiful, smooth, accurate ballLowlights:- Rosen holds the ball too long. He'd get sacked every snap in a real game. - David Johnson dropped an easy pass and fumbled another. - Mike Glennon. Career 3rd stringer and looked the part. - 1st guy off the field......Rodney Gunter. I was watching. No extra work? It shows. - Nkemdiche jumped offsides at least 3x. No joking. - JJ Nelson and Greg Little have stone hands...still. Somehow after all these years. Still cant catch.- Justin Pugh did not look good at all. He got beat in the vs DL drill. - Cant say its a lowlight but I did not remotely notice: Kirk, Chad, Seals, Bucc, Pierre, Taylor (new #2 CB), or Chase Edmonds. Total ghosts. Did nothing special. Ill focus on them next time.
  20. Josh Allen was just on Murphy's show and said, about the last two passes, he had never had to throw a pass like that in college, short dump-offs...everything was medium and long distance. He didn't know whether to throw them overhand or underhand?
  21. and from Joe B. https://www.wkbw.com/sports/bills/joe-b-7-observations-from-2018-buffalo-bills-training-camp-day-1
  22. Really dislike sports reporting with hot take perspectives, e.g. Cover One. A much more positive and nuanced perspective from a professional: https://wgr550.radio.com/articles/news/allen-looks-solid-early-inconsistent-late
  23. Very poor interface with Android Auto - unless the program is up and running on the phone, Android Auto won't play it - even tho Radio.com is an approved choice. Bring us back to TuneIn!
  24. Some teams have rookies report up to a week early, some - like the Bills - have them report same day as veterans. So what's the catch? I have to believe that by having rookies report the same day as the veterans, McDermott is allowed to catch up time with them earlier or later in the pre-season schedule.
