  1. Yeah, I think he'd love to be a part of the team that finally brought home the Lombardi trophy. It would take a great off until then...
  2. As I posted in the "post-game" thread Sunday night, I had friends in Hawaii texting and asking for Bills jerseys, especially Allen's.
  3. At one point last year I suggested sitting him and replacing him with Duke because he wasn't contributing at the WR position which was sorely lacking (toward the end, teams were focused on taking away Smoke and Beas, and there was no one else picking up the slack. In addition, the Bills ST unit wasn't very good overall. This year, he is a valuable piece to the overall puzzle, especially now that they have a great complement of WRs and their return unit is much better.
  4. It's fine if he leaves. Super Bowl champs always seem to lose coordinators this way....
  5. It won't be a problem.
  6. People actually listen to that guy?
  7. A CB, Ramsey maybe. Super Bowl team with another stud opposite White.
  8. Great stuff on Diggs in Fairburn's article here: https://theathletic.com/2259486/2020/12/14/bills-show-key-ingredients-for-playoff-success-in-win-over-steelers/
  9. Johnson, Phillips, Oliver, and Epenesa, not a bad foundation going forward.
  10. Bills with Josh Allen are building a national following. I've got friends in Hawaii asking me to get them Jerseys for the whole family!
  11. I'll add Beasely. He needed 37 yards to break his personal best for yards in a season, got 41.
  12. It's hard to separate these guys....I think this is a pic of them when they were in Carolina....(Sean still had hair)
  13. This post made me go back and read the "in your head" post. I thought along similar lines after the LAC game (at leaast I believe that was the one), that he can be his own worst enemy. Interestingly, I caught part of the Pitt-Ravens game where Big Ben was dinking and dunking most of the time, wondering if Allen could ever get to that point? I thought the 49er game showed some of that, "some." He is still so young and raw, which means he's got so much more room to grow. While he will never lose that gunslinger mentality, it looks like he is learning to be more patient and taking what's given sometimes. Sunday night will be a very good test, and I hope he passes... Lastly, I've made this point a few times in posts where people lament not taking Mahomes: given he has so much more room to grow, if Allen CAN harness himself (and I believe he can), I believe one day soon the Mahomes Lament will go the way of the Dodo...
  14. I agree with the first point. I don't know about second, as there is certainly enough tape going back to last year. Don't take any unnecessary risks until it matters most. On the other hand, for this week at least, if the Steelers play a lot of man, and they are weak at LB, I can see Dabol telling Josh to take advantage of it when it's there.
  15. Strength against strength, our protection against their pass rush. Should be the #1 factor playing into the outcome.
  16. It takes awhile to come to grips with the fact these aren’t our same old Bills. I’m still working through it too!
  17. Who has the best chance to beat the Chiefs in the NFL?
  18. I seriously think in another year or two very few people will be questioning this move. Josh is the better "fit" for Buffalo, and he still has much more room to grow compared to PM.
  19. I think Dabol has used the tackle eligible too much. I called it out when they lined up. If I knew it, the 49ers darn sure knew it. I also think he's trying to stay away from designed runs by Josh because of his injuries. Minor quibbles ...
  20. Congratulations to Mr Beane! What I appreciate about him and McDermott is how they have embraced the WNY community. I'm thinking they erase the memory of four straight Super Bowl losses with four stratight wins...
  21. Baldy devotes a segment to his very good game helping Wash defeat Pitt
  22. Was just scanning through to see if anyone already mentioned, yes the RJ analogy is better than comparing him to any QB I can think of.
  23. The Athletic has a good piece on Matakevich: https://theathletic.com/2250861/2020/12/10/tyler-matakevich-bills-special-teams/ Say's he's had the Pitt game circled since signing with the Bills....
  24. Bailouts, QE, near-zero interest rates--whatever you want to call it. The financial system is backstopped by the FED and they know it. If Wall Street disappeared, the US economy would probably be better off...
