  1. I assume you mean for the Patriots? Need to destroy that franchise somehow!
  2. 2014 the Bills have a top 5 D and bottom half O. 2015, Bills hire a defensive genius for a coach, so Whaley works on the O, bringing in shady, clay, Harvin, incognito, and Taylor. O moves to upper half of league, D to lower half. 2016, Defensive genius didn't have the players he needed, so Whaley uses top 3 picks on D. O scores 31 against jets, but D gives up 37. O coordinator fired. O ranks in top 10, D regresses from previous year. Blame Whaley...
  3. Sure, Tyrod has limitations, but he has guided an offensive output that is better than anything the Bills have done since Jim Kelly. Only in 2004 did the Bills average more ppg than the current 25.4, and they've done it without a complement of NFL-caliber WRs. Careful what you wish for. This offense is good enough to get you into the playoffs, the D on the other hand....
  4. Fire Rex and go back to a cover 2 and the secondary will be fine with the exception of replacing AW. Front 7: Lawson Dareus Washington Hughes Brown Ragland ZBrown Time to let the old man go despite how good he's played this year.
  5. Coach Sal: They were playing prevent offense and prevent defense.
  6. That was some of the worst play calling I've ever seen.
  7. Let me add, the Bills don't stand a chance of winning because the NFL needs to boost its ratings so they desire to have two of the formerly marquee teams make it to the SB--Dallas and the Raiders. The refs will make it happen...
  8. The bills will hang with them in the first half, but their injuries at WR and secondary will catch up to them in the second half. 27-23 men in black
  9. a big part of what's wrong with the D. Can we get Jim Leonard out of retirement?
  10. Goodwin is the complement you want when you have Sammy on one side and Woods in the slot. Without those other threats he's no Goodwin. He'll be replaced by the rook on IR
  11. i will Billieve if they win the next two. Lose one and they're done.
  12. Not having A. Williams is most likely the biggest issue with the D. They need 2 people on the back end who understand the D, and being athletic (duke Williams) is not sufficient. Jim Leonard thrived with Rex. You are correct, the O is doing enough to win even with the worst WR core in the league, sans Sammy.
  13. Thanks. Funny last story.
  14. The data are just another way of saying the offense is not the reason the Bills won't make the playoffs under RR's 2 years.
  15. Unfortunately the Pats may be in cruise control at that point, resting Brady and the starters. They put themselves in a tough situation, but it is the NFL and anything can happen...
  16. Miami is currently 6-4. Not sure how you got your 6 losses?
  17. raiders have a national if not international brand. The nfl ratings are sucking. Ergo....
  18. That crappy team has won 5 in a row. Their remaining schedule is not that tough either. Their toughest game would be the final at NEP, but the Pats will most likely be resting their starters that game. I agree with others who've said the Bills most likely have to win out to get in.
  19. Tannehill first 32 starts: 59.4%, 36 td 30 int, 6.8 ypa, 79 ratingTaylor first 23 starts: 62.3%, 30 td 9 int, 7.4 ypa, 94 rating I'm sure this proves something...
  20. whatever he does, I'm sure it's going to be the greatest, the best ever. Re the topic, I think the most difficult thing for him to hold onto will be his foreign policy thoughts. Fight Isis instead of Assad and Russia. Talk a bought taking on the vested interests! [oops! This was related to gg's topic--broken promises]
  21. I wonder what the comparison looks like if you did Tannehill's first 17 games as a starter?
  22. It's going to be very interesting to see how the right responds if Trump is able to pass his tax cuts and infrastructure spending. Trump will have to bring back Cheney to tell us "Reagan proved that deficits don't matter..."
  23. It really exposes the weakness of Ryan's scheme: if you don't have a Revis to take away one side of the field, there is no way CBs can prevent getting burned throughout a game. This is why most play a Schwartz-type D, make them have to drive the length of the field, then hold them to 3 points in the RZ. The clowns are blaming Whaley of course...
  24. I was more concerned when GWB was elected because I knew the kind of **** he would bring. If Trump puts US on a path to diplomacy with Putin and walks US back from regime change in the ME, I think we (I) could survive any domestic policy !@#$ ups...with the exception of promoting a race war....
  25. Winning is the best way to pay back A$$hats.
