  1. Because I picked the Rams to win in my pick’em pool.
  2. Someone might have said that about the Bills after game 1 last year. They have all the ingredients for a top 10 team.
  3. Rethinking this POV, there were some really dumb decisions made last night too. McD making Shakir inactive instead of Harris for one. I hope McD gets his act together...
  4. It wasn't the INT because I think the very next play AJ nailed Stafford. Someone will know hopefully
  5. There was one play in the 4th Q where someone came flying up the middle and nailed Stafford just as he threw a pass, but unfortunately there was no replay. Anyone know who nearly decapitated him?
  6. Yeah, what an Einstein.
  7. Can't wait to see this DL face TENN and DHenry!
  8. I'm really, really happy he's back on this team.
  9. Kickoff, yes. I haven't seen the punt coverage yet...
  10. If White was playing, then I'd be very confident. Unfortunately, I the Rams will attack the young CBs in their first NFL game. I can see the Bills losing this game, but winning the next match against the Rams in February....
  11. It's not just the round he was picked, but a pass-catching RB seemed to be a top priority for Dorsey. Having lost McKissic, they picked up Johnson as a consolation. Picking Cook in R2 indicates (to me) that pass-catching RB is important to what Dorsey wants to do.
  12. Yes, understandable. The reason I think it's possible is that Von rushes from the left side a lot, so I think it's going depend how they plan to use him. I'd say your view is most likely, but I believe there's a decent possibility of Basham sitting.
  13. Hell Yeah!
  14. Was just checking to see who caught that!
  15. Seems to be a non-issue, meaning isn't that what all defenses try to do, disguise what the coverage is? The Bills are supposedly very good with this as Belichick has exclaimed. Even Brady could be fooled. It takes years for QBs to figure out what the D is doing, and O-coordinators set up pre-snap movement to try and help their QB decipher the coverage. I'm sure Allen would say he's constantly learning.
  16. I certainly believe after watching how the Bengals defended the chiefs in the second half of the afccg they learned some things
  17. Yes, it looks like they are grooming Morris for Gilliam's role too. While he's the better receiver, Gilliam is the better blocker. Yes, in the match-up he's describing--what looks like a run set can go into a 5-wide with that personnel. All about creating mismatches.
  18. I'm sure he wants his chance to be a starter. If the Bills do extend Poyer, then I'd expect him to test the market.
  19. While he's earned it, players also understand it's a business and teams can't pay everyone who has earned it, especially after their franchise QB earned and received it.
  20. ONce the season starts, the cap is no longer based on top 51, but 53 + PS (I believe).
  21. I was skeptical of your view initially, but after watching Beane's presser yesterday and reading between the lines, I think you are right. Beane took the blame for the draft mistake and said he'd have to go back and evaluate his processes, including assessment of player "intangibles".
