  1. "relatively early" for me means before R4.
  2. They will need to draft one relatively early. Shareece Wright would still win the backup role with the current group....
  3. What!? This is great! I’m going to put $100 on the Bills winning the Super Bowl now. In his entire nfl career, the team he previously played for wins the Super Bowl...
  4. I’ll take Vikings
  5. I’m not the one suggesting they trade him.
  6. If they traded him what do you think they’d get for him? I’m not saying he doesn’t have potential, rather we haven’t seen what he’s capable of over a full season.
  7. I was just going to post (without going all the way through the thread) that he should visit TSW during the off-season....
  8. And my same point, the Giants and Bucs don't have the cap space to take on Jerry's contract. Lawson hasn't proven anything to be worth anything...
  9. The Giants don't have the cap space to take on his contract.
  10. I grew up an Angel's fan. Been keeping an aye on his progress, and he didn't look good during spring training, but now that the real season is on, so is Ohtani. Homered In his first home at bat last night in a 13-2 victory over the Tribe. Pitched very well in his first start against the A's. Maybe the moniker as the Japanese Babe Ruth isn't so far off. Dick Enberg was the long time Angel's play-by-play announcer, and I am sure, after that HR, he would've exclaimed,, "Oh My Ohtani!"
  11. And Buffalo has the largest DD party in the country!
  12. TB doesn’t have an R3 pick so they should be interested. 12 and 56 for 7 and change. To get 2, it would cost 7, 22 and 53. Essentially it costs 12, 22, 53, and 56, but takes 2 moves to satisfy giants not wanting to go too far back.
  13. Again, the question is NOT whether AJ is a franchise QB, it's "are the Bills a playoff team with AJ?" In my initial post I said they needed some help at other positions, but if they do that, then I think he's good enough to get them to the playoffs. If he isn't better than Tyrod, than you'd be right.
  14. Because he’s yet to have an opportunity to play an entire season, so he is still an unknown quantity. The issue isn’t that he’s going to lead a franchise to the Super Bowl, rather can he get them to the playoffs? With an improved D, I think his small sample size shows it’s possible. Btw, the Bills are an NFL team...
  15. How many games has he started? that said, I don’t think he’s the kind of QB that will put up 250-300 yds/g, but he can win them games and seems to have the ability to make comebacks, unlike TT.
  16. They addressed their major weaknesses on D with FAs, run D and pass rush with Star and Trent. They still need an LB or 2, but it will come down to the OP’s question.
  17. More noise? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000924001/article/denver-broncos-open-to-possibly-drafting-qb-at-no-5
  18. What if the Jets take him?
  19. If it works, then it’s good for the Bills—though it works as long as they both go in the top 4.
  20. With the way Hue is talking up Chubb, the Giants could take him. First 4: Darnold chubb Allen/Rosen/Mayfield? Barkley one of the 3 QBs could be available at 6
  21. All of this cheer leading about jobs is certainly done with blinders on, as if nothing was going on previously. The fact is the total number of jobs created for each year of Obama's second term was greater than 2017, Trump's first year. Let me re-phrase this: job growth in Trump's first year was less than any year of Obama's second term. Trump's first year was simply a continuation of growth, nothing more. I'm not crediting Obama, rather, as long as the economy is allowed to expand--without the Fed putting an end to it, employment grows, and employment was growing under Trump's first year at rate less than the previous four--there were no policies changes that would impact total employment. Now, as I have predicted based on the tax cuts, I fully expect this year to be much stronger. He can certainly take credit for any impact this year, as he should also take blame for the significant expansion of the deficit which is the source of that impact.
  22. Yeah, maybe they don't want the Bills to jump in front of them...?
  23. Viva la revolucion!!!!
  24. I'm sure they like him as a QB, despite the lack of stature. I think his biggest issue is personality fit, and that's what they really want to get into now.
  25. I think you can chalk a lot of that up to experience, or lack of. Dalton was in his 5th year vs the first starts of AJ's career. 2015 was also Dalton's best statistical year, the only time he had a rating > 100; most of the time he's been under 90. I really like that AJ was able to comeback in the playoff game @Pitt. For a guy who was essentially getting his 4th career start, that's impressive.
