  1. NP's confidence is very fragile and one more bad game could destroy him. Yes, I do think he can play QB at an adequate level in this league....
  2. Hopefully the new CB will get up to speed ASAP, as I've been saying they have (had) no one after Davis who is becoming more and more questionable as a starter. They need the D to keep them in games just to make it somewhat interesting for people. Ugh....
  3. I believe Jerry Hughes is now the all-time leader of "in the grasp no-sacks." The number of times a guy has his hands on the QB but fails to get him down....
  4. We got to see what Bojorquez offers--hang time and distance combined. Hopefully we just won't see him so much....
  5. So I'm having a little trouble spotting that Trump Trend....? I have no problem giving him credit for accelerating GDP growth this year due to his tax cuts and spending increases, but the data supports the notion that the economy was simply moving on trend in his first year, at best.
  6. Yes, you could see it in Peterman's eyes that something wasn't right; there weren't many on-target throws as a consequence.
  7. No, Teller simply needs more time. He will get there soon enough....
  8. That's not good. On the bright side, I'm happy to see Croom active, which makes me think we'll see a lot of Clay, Thomas, and Croom in the passing game.
  9. A successful start is: If they score more points than in their first away game last year...
  10. Was that Keuchly who said to McD, "that dude is a freakazoid!" About Tremaine, then they cut to a shot of him--he looked like the a predator.
  11. The analogy is currently alive and well in one respect, the nastiness expressed by some who were wrong about Peterman winning the job. Rather than supporting the guy, they can't wait to be proven right...
  12. If he is like Pennington, that would be great. I would disagree that he's "not a threat to run." He has no problem tucking it and gaining yards when all else fails.
  13. Nate won the competition clearly, and it’s not just the games that determine the outcome. McD showed last year that he’s willing to make a change when he believes the alternative will make you better. It was not a Tyrod screwing up that led to McD’s decision, it was what Nate was showing consistently in practice— that he could give them more passing options on O. Allen will take the reins when he shows the same consistency. However, in this case, Allen will also play if Nate bombs or when they are out of contention.
  14. Remember, NP got the start last year because TT wasn't giving them enough at the position AND more important what he was showing in practice.
  15. I'd guess same for Bills. A game where most mistakes loses?
  16. Big test Sunday against Roman's running attack, so we'll see if the Star investment pays off early...
  17. Sounds like we're in for a run-dominated game this week. The description of the O-line could be the Bills. Big test for the run D against Roman. Not liking the matchup....
  18. I was happy to see them add a CB, and hope he's better than the Pitts and Gaines.
  19. I'm in your camp. They are a good run-blocking unit, but below average in pass-blocking. I think the scheme will be used to maximize their strength. I agree on Peterman too, though I do worry about those outs...
  20. Seems this is about the hanging (of) judge Beane...
  21. O’Leary was at his ceiling. Thomas and Croom offer more size and speed, and therefore create more mismatches. As a converted qb, the third year will be the charm for Thomas. I think Croom’s physique gives him the potential to develop into a complete package at the position. He very well could make clay expendable next year as some noted. As ive said elsewhere, this TE group will be the strength of the passing game, especially with a qb who sees the middle of the field.
  22. It won't take much to upgrade CB depth...
  23. I believe Winning the first two is more likely than the second two. To your point, 2-2 would be a very good start against those four teams with three on the road.
  24. Grand conspiracy or grand cover up? https://www.tabletmag.com/scroll/257335/robert-muellers-beltway-cover-up
  25. Yes, thanks for setting it up!
