Well, here we are with taco meat, and me with no appetite whatsoever!

Our kids didn’t play football until high school. They played EVERYTHING else. Soccer and basketball are great for the feet, weightlifting to make them stronger for every sport, baseball to teach them that even a “sport” can be boring (sorry, that was for @Gugny!), golf and tennis teach mental aspects, etc. Good athletes benefit from a variety of sports, IMO. The baseball guys wanted 12 months of baseball in FL. They said he’d fall behind, but we played other sports and they were begging for him the next season. They were just fine without playing at a young age. The youngest as a senior was POY in his conference, recruited by small schools and was 1st Team All Area despite Manatee High up the road being the #1 HS team in the country that year. No need to play too soon in my opinion. .

But our sideline just happens to have a hot spring and a lava pit. IDK, the stadium was just built that way. 🤷‍♂️

Electric sounded great until I tried it. It was OK for a quick refresh if we had a function in the evening, thats about it. During the winter I like to let my chest and back hair grow out. I’m like a cuddly bear! You know what they say - it’s all about LAYERS! Think Fitzy topless at a Bills game. It’s like a giant sweater underneath everything else!!! .

Yes, and Miami took those heaters to LA last week. 😂 I suspect they will be tested a bit more this Saturday night in OP.

He’s having wallet problems again, I’m afraid. Wallet so big it gave him sciatica he took it out and can’t remember where he put it.

I wish I could remember where I saw this, or verify it, but somewhere in the last few days I heard Tua has never started a game, in college or the pros, where the temp at kickoff was less than something like 52 degrees. They were citing his two coldest games with dates and locations in college, so they had done some research. Seems hard to believe. Hope he get a FULL TASTE OF WINTER SATURDAY NIGHT! 😋 .

If you look around at a tailgate, it seems surprisingly few people there are from less than an hour away. Maybe the more local folks don’t put the same emphasis on the tailgate as they are there all year round? I know my local friends with season tix are just in and out for the game. I suppose my farthest trips are Sarasota, FL to Buffalo multiple times or Atlanta to Green Bay. I fly, for obvious reasons. I have my limits. I look forward to the schedule coming out every year because I try to go to the home opener and one road game each year. Picking a good road game location is fun. This year I was looking forward to the game in Cincinnati. I went last time we played there and had a good time (it’s my college town). When the schedule came out and I saw Jan 2 at night, I lost a little enthusiasm. Holidays and BRRR! We will be on vacation at the beach for that one. Hate to miss what should be a great game.

Do they have an Ebola vax? I shave at least 363 days a year. I don’t mind when others go with stubble or a real beard, but it just feels wrong to me for some reason.

It wasn’t a horrible pass, because it was nearly a huge play. But I have a more pressing matter: Who looks up the Jet’s Top Plays vs Bills In Week 14?

They were old THEN. But do they have a half dozen games left? Maybe. 🤷‍♂️ Brown came VERY close to that long pass last week. Great coverage, perfect pass, and it would have been a sweet welcome home!

With such a broad topic, I was surprised that two burgers immediately came to mind. The first is Zip’s outside of Cincinnati. It was one of my favorite joints during college and they just have great burgers. It’s on the list of stops every time I get back to town. I think @Seasons1992 probably has tried them. The other place is Gecko’s, a sport bar kinda place with a few locations around Sarasota, FL. Their first location opened within walking distance of my house when we moved there in 1993. Great burger with lettuce tomato and red onion. When I was feeling crazy blue cheese went on. Some burgers slide all over and become hard to eat because of the “extras”, and some have better buns, I guess. Neither of these places does anything you can point to that makes it so good, but they are just so right in different and delicious ways. .

Clearly our FO has no idea what they are doing! The torch and pitchfork crowd was RIGHT!

So, what you’re saying is I’d be in jeopardy. Thanks for the warning! 😋 We did a trail around Blowing Rock, NC years ago that was not too strenuous if you were in decent shape. The problem is, after a bigger person huffed and puffed 3/4 of the way around…..there is a narrow passageway. Some people were exhausting themselves just to finish, then had to turn around and go all the way back. They did not fit through the opening. That’s messed up.

That was what Bruce used to do, and it turned out OK. Worth every penny of MY money! 😋 I kid, winning makes you wealthier. Groot will help you win. GREAT pick IMO. Fun guy to watch, too.

Part of me is hoping Von sticks around a little longer than expected, just to rub off on him more. It seems they have ALL benefited from Von’s presence. I know, there is only so much money, but Groot is young.

In only 10 starts, and he missed games to the ankle sprain, which slows you for a while when you try to come back. Von may be right about his ceiling. That’s a GREAT thing!

He’s not using them anyway. See if you can get Haslam on the phone. 🤷‍♂️
