I like the feeling that our front office in now smart enough to be able to find the “next Josh” without letting a couple decades pass. I vote YES on a smart FO!
-
And players, especially QB’s, are just lasting longer and longer with better training and nutrition, etc. Josh can do that too, he just needs to adjust his style a bit and be more judicious in picking his spots.

Happy Birthday Josh! He’s only 27, and he’s still learning. The people who act like we are out of chances are just full of drama. I hate drama. Surround him with weapons and protect him. We have at least a decade of high level football to look forward to. Time will tell, and fingers crossed.

Well, sure, if you want to be like…..accurate and stuff.

It’s not a passage. It is the entire book. It IS for dummies, after all. -

Trolls be trolls. Don’t feed them is my advice. -
A buddy of mine recently joined a healthy but stagnant bank as CEO. He was brought in to grow things by adding lenders and other measures. The previous CEO was made Vice Chairman, because nobody knew what that meant, and he didn’t feel like he lost stature. His old staff loved him and thought it was a good thing. Titles can be decieving. Keep your titles, show me the money!

I’m pinched for time and not able to read the article right now, but the wife and I recently saw something on TV about the domestication of dogs that We found fascinating. The most important trait for the transition was not intelligence, size, endurance or any of the qualities you might think of. It was friendliness. They were in a pack of wolves living off human scraps, and being friendly helped get them accepted. My Goldens have been leaders in this category, to the point that it is almost their most over the line traits. Just behind SHEDDING!

Traveling right now, so I can’t look to be sure. I believe it is Critter Ridder. He just gave it to us, least he could do after what we spent with him. Not sure if it’s great stuff, or if our squirrel got sloppy crossing the road one day, but the problem ended. I like your holiday solution, though!

Jackson Mahomes Sexual Assault(Update)Arrested
Augie replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently, that would be a swing and a BIG miss! -
I guess coming here to troll is more fun than listening to what’s going on with Pats* fans. I have a Bills fan buddy living in Boston, and he is LOVING the mood up there. Is it a coincidence that I am seeing less Cheater gear worn by the Frontrunner Bandwagon People? Me thinks not. Quite predictable.

Maybe young people don’t know enough to recognize when someone is unnecessarily complicated things in life in the name of greed. And I am all for capitalism, but greed can cut both ways. They can make more off of you, while annoying many others, causing some to look for the door. It’s not all win/win. . ..

It’s how he rolls. I’ve come to expect no more. I’m glad I’m not the only one who is bothered by stuff like that. @Chandler#81 Thanks for the cool stats. It is an amazing collection telling the tale of our guy Josh. Let’s keep adding to the totals, because that generally means playoff success. Let’s start counting Super Bowl MVP’s next!

How much has your life changed since you first logged in?
Augie replied to boyst's topic in Off the Wall
Okay, @plenzmd1 didn’t like that, and I understand. I did not know him 20 years ago, so he is technically correct. However, if he was worse 20 years ago, I’m not sure how he got here. Of course, I have no idea how I got here! Dumb luck must have played a factor. On the bright side, he has somehow managed to do a great job of raising part of the next generation of Bills fans, so he gets full credit for that. How he did it is a tale to tell, but he did it! And somehow he is still a kid at heart, while most of them seem to have grown up just fine! 🤷♂️ I’m still working on it, as any who have met me know. -
What was your favorite era of being a Sports fan?
Augie replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
Reading responses I’ve realized it’s like children, you can’t pick a favorite …….and if you do, just shut the hell up about it! 😋 -
I can tell you squirrels sharpen their teeth. I learned this when they started doing it on the bistro lights hanging in the backyard. I was finding bulbs around the yard, so the landscape guy brought me some spray to keep them away. That must be some nasty stuff, because they stopped chewing my wires and they never came back.

I get it, and I’m sorry for your loss. We had to put down my 13.5 year old Golden Gracie recently. She was the 6th Golden we have lost. It is devastating, including for the now lonely pup we got to be her best friend. We are eagerly awaiting a litter coming in June. We can never truly replace Gracie, but we can get a new pal for our Scout. . This is true, and beautiful. EDIT: We’ve are traveling right now and last night we had dinner at a great restaurant in Paris, where many people had brought their dogs. We have some places that allow dogs on the patio, but this was inside the restaurant. I loved it! There was a super cute little dog heading out, and I offered her owner a little dog treat I had found in my coat pocket. You’d have thought I paid for her dinner. Her reaction said everything you need to know about how much she loves that little pup. Pets can enhance your life immeasurably. Sorry again for your loss. .

I’ve been paying full freight for Sunday Ticket forever. It’s not just the money to me. I get free Peacock now to watch Dan Patrick in the morning. They keep trying to get me to sign up and pay for more. It’s annoying. Now they want me to do some friggin’ update which is not as simple as it sounds, and I’m just tired of keeping it all up to date. I had a good friend who never watched another NFL game after they went on strike. It’s not always about money and the other costs to watch. I’m not ready to turn away yet, but if there is a point where they annoy me by making it hard to watch one Bills game, or a playoff game, they might not just lose me for that game. They may lose me entirely. I can be a stubborn SOB. They need to tread a bit more lightly and gradually, IMO. “Kids” don’t mind this stuff as much as the older folks, and we tend to have more money, so there’s that to consider.

Speaking of stupid and Cutlass’, it was the fastest I ever drove a car, though not quite to the speed you hit. BUT, I did have the only accident that was my fault driving. I rear ended a nice young couple in a station wagon when I thought they would get a left turn arrow, but did not. Everyone was very nice to me! Today I could tell the stories of my trip to jail, but these are different times. I was going out to get more beer for the party at my house. (I was maybe 16 at the time.) The front bumper on my Cutlass forever had a frown after that night. The next morning I woke up with that awful “something bad happened” feeling. I went downstairs to tell my parents I had been in an accident. Still vividly remember they were having coffee on the back patio. My mother asked if alcohol had been involved. I, of course, said no. She said “good, now go out in the front yard and pick up all the beer bottles your friends left on their way out”. OOPS! Again, very different times!

Quinnen Williams scrubs Jets from his Twitter page

I am a guy who would have elected to let Bruce sit after he got a brand new contract, but wanted a new one because somebody else got a raise. I don’t tolerate that well, and you probably don’t want me as your GM. The list of reasons is of course long, VERY long, but that’s kinda high up there.
