His reputation was temporarily damaged. It has no impact on my view of him, and I wish him well going forward. A LOT of lessons to be learned here for everyone.

It was determined the guy was not there when the group stuff happened. I hope people don’t plan to rehash all that. Bad things happened, in several regards, and she is not fully innocent. But please, let’s not start all over again. This is why we should never rush to judgment.
  3. Don’t forget tailgating. I know, them’s serious words, there! Oh, and wings of course. I bet those heathens have never even heard of beef on weck!!! It must be such a sad life. They need those trophies to sleep at night. Yep, I’m stickin’ with that!
  4. And that high ankle sprain didn’t help at all. But he was tough and fought thru it for the team. I’ll give him effort/toughness points for that. I’m expecting a big step up from last season if he stays healthy. Time will tell.
  5. Ranking the WR’s is fine, but leaving out the TE’s (and pass catching RB’s) hurts the meaningfulness. I think the Bills and Chiefs would look very different if we included all the pass catchers. I’m sure others could argue the same. It’s the offseason, so it’s a fun little exercise I guess. .
  6. Are you still here??? 😋 They are already behind. They just keep moving the goal line. I’m not positive in this case of the dates, but it feels right.
  7. Well, yeah….but what do they know? 😋 Delays would not shock me, I promise you that. .
  8. Remember that scene in Ghostbusters where Bill Murray zaps the kid who is struggling with his ESP skills? I will send a Christmas/Holiday card for the rest of my life to anybody who develops and employs the technology that will do the same thing to anyone who wants to talk about proposed trades.
  9. I would never go to a store that includes that little hassle over a quarter. I just paid too much for my groceries at Publix. They can afford to pay someone to come out and return the carts. I rarely use the corrals since I’m in the store at least 5 times a week and can easily carry my purchases to the car without taking the cart with me. I’m more likely to take a cart TO the store than away, but the bit of holding me hostage for a quarter is not a game I want to play. On a nice day that would be a treat. I would love the time out walking around doing my thing without being bothered. If it’s 40 degrees and raining, I’d rather stock shelves or clean the bathroom.
  10. Where did you find that game? Did you have it recorded? Is it on YouTube or some other source? I’d enjoy taking a look. Thanks for the encouraging report. I hope he’s a day one starter and stays there a decade plus.
  11. Might be time to thank your lucky stars for what she thinks is attractive! She sounds like a keeper! 😋
  12. Just pointing it out to the people who think we took a TE too high, or he’s a lousy blocker for a TE. I mean, I know he’s a TE, but he’s not really a TE. And yes, I know it’s way too soon but I’m not really thinking 5 years down the road. I’m just trying to highlight the “TE Classification Dilemma” for those who are thinking of the position in the more traditional sense. And yes again, let us hope this is a real issue down the road because he is such an All Pro stud!
  13. Would you happen to have any photos of him sitting at a middle school desk in 8th grade as a 400 pounder? That might require some special engineering. I still concerns me a bit if he can blow up like that, but I hope he stays disciplined for football, and for life. You don’t want to be one of the people on a scooter in the grocery store (oh, the irony!) while still in his 20’s.
  14. I hope we never have to tag him, because it will lead to the obvious question of “what is his position?” He would argue that he’s NOT a TE but a member of the higher paid WR class, and I expect that down the road I will have to agree with him. Jimmy Graham comes to mind. Time will tell. .
  15. He will spend some time in-line next to a tackle, I’m sure, but he will be mostly in the slot. If you have him in the slot he needs to be blocking on every running play. Even the WR’s need to block. You don’t take a play off because the ball is not coming to you. Somebody else has the ball, and you need to keep your guy off of him. You block for the man with the ball, not just Josh. Kincaid seems fine with throwing himself into the mix to do his best, even if it’s not his strength. I loved his attitude and willingness in the clip I saw of him NOT getting the ball. That’s a team guy.
  16. Was it Chris Rock who said “you are only as loyal as your options”? If he can find a better option, we will hear a revised statement. I don’t blame him for anything he has said, but I also know it is subject to change.

I didn’t see a second of it. But my wife had it on around 6:15am so I did get to hear some of it before I cranked up the white noise machine. That fixed THAT!
  18. Including…………..the Random Thoughts thread! I am nothing if not full of random thoughts. I’m still working on coherent thoughts. Always a work in progress. 😋 I have no idea what kind of a fit Simmons might be, but I’m sure Beane & Co are leaving no stone unturned (despite what they say publicly). I’d feel a lot better with someone who has done this before. We have too much talent to waste by leaving a weak spot in the middle of the D to be exploited.
  19. I’m sorry, maybe I should have been more clear. We all know he’s not an every down, in-line blocker. But 90%+ of the time the ball is not going to him. I saw a clip somewhere that showed him getting the ball less than half of the plays. It’s what he did when the ball did NOT go to him that left me impressed by his willingness. Blocking in the run game and down field is an important ingredient. EVERYBODY blocks in the run game, and downfield. He’s game, he just needs some work there for the next level. .
  20. I think we are all trained to think of TE’s as questionable first round value. But the game is changing, and they can be game changing playmakers too as we see here. I’m glad he is at least a wiling blocker, even if it needs some work. The more well rounded you can be, the more dangerous you can be.
  21. Take that thing to a tailgate and get a few bowling ball shots in him. Death will ensue, but you might not like the details. 🤷‍♂️ I was offended at first, but my wife has done a pretty good job of getting me ready to go out in public.
  22. That was great, but I didn’t see the TD catch I was talking about. Maybe I blinked, but they stay on one play for a while so I don’t think I missed it. I’ll look for it later. It shows his flexibility and ball tracking while making it all look SO EASY and natural. He’s not a big stiff, he’s athletic as hell.
  23. We’ll never know what might have happened if the little run on WR’s didn’t take place, but I like having a guy who is a mismatch and can put pressure on a defense. He’s not just another good WR, he’s a different part like a new chess piece. We have a bishop/rook hybrid!
  24. I didn’t watch enough to have an opinion on his hands. People rarely have drops in their highlight reel, so I really like your stats. That’s VERY encouraging. What DID stand out to me on film was how fluid he is and how well he tracks the ball. It’s only one play, but that TD catch in the end zone where he’s looking over the left shoulder, then adjusts to the catch over his right shoulder is only one play, but it was a very impressive one to me. I can’t wait to see this guy in a Bills uniform! I hope Dorsey and the OLine make strides, because we could be even more dangerous going forward. .
  25. It was around that time that he was playing donkey noises endlessly on the radio as I was working in my office. It just would not stop! I got up, walked across the room, and turned Rome off. Forever. It’s sort of a shame, because he does good interviews, but I couldn’t take all of his schtick.
