  1. If my boss came up to me complaining about something I did on the job 5 years ago, I would think there’s definitely something wrong with that guy. .
  2. I checked with my therapist, Dr. Jack Daniels, and he said you should be fine.
  3. He came a few seasons after you, if I recall correctly.
  4. Nothing wrong with the occasional day drinking and dreaming. Cheers! 😋 I’m in the one game at a time mode. Just finish the season looking like we are capable of looking and pray for the best. Bring on the Good Bills. Much of this season I’ll hope to forget, but they can still beat anyone when they play as they are capable of playing.
  5. That Milano guy isn’t too shabby when healthy, either. We ignore the things that don’t fit our narrative, obviously. 🤷‍♂️
  6. I’m told sitcom math contains all the answers. 😋 No, I don’t know what that means either. 🤷‍♂️
  7. Maybe, but with extra stuff because it was an odd amount. Probably the case though.
  8. Does @Captain Hindsight have multiple accounts? 😋
  9. How many people will this just whiz by? @Muppy I was in Rotary for years, admittedly mostly for business connections. I don’t feel bad as that was true of almost everyone. I look back on the things we did and the experiences we had and I forgive the hokey-ness. I not only enjoyed having my young boys present while ringing Salvation Army bells outside the grocery store, but revenue went WAY up with cute kids, and they learned a little something. We did a Tree of Giving fundraiser one Christmas and the kids came with us after hours to a Sears (when they like, had stuff). We had needy families there expecting to get toys and things for the kids. Instead they asked “can we get diapers?” Even my young kids were like “Dad, they don’t have anything.” I think that is a life lesson as well as a kind deed. As for Kissinger, what a ride! I don’t know if he was a good guy or, as some suggest, the devil. I’m just not familiar with the details, but what a life.
  10. Are you the guy who spent over $150 at Dunkin Donuts? That was a charge we KNEW wasn’t ours. Won’t $150 get you everything in a Dunkin Donuts?
  11. I always thought of him as a brat, but the last interview I saw he acted like a grown up. Someone must have gotten in his ear before that one, but people will show you who they really are. Believe them. EDIT: He NEVER should say it out loud, but who WOULDN’T be reluctant behind that OLine? He could blame it on PTSD. Credit (or blame 😋) to @muppy .
  12. The Holidays don’t always bring out the best in people. Our credit card gets compromised shortly before Christmas more years than not. PITA! We had a Halloween party to attend one year so we put a bucket of candy out with a sign that said please don’t be greedy, leave some for others. I wonder how many people actually got some candy before somebody just took the bucket. Not shocking, I know.
  13. VERY impressive! How did you learn to be able to read the future? Were you born with this gift or did it just develop over time? I’m disappointed to learn this, unfortunately. I was hoping he would get his legs, confidence and conditioning back and be able to be a factor later in the season, but I guess you’ve ruled that out so we’ll just have to believe you because you……well……..you say so. I think all the childish name calling should be sent back to elementary school.
  14. This will be unpopular with many. It’s not nearly angry enough. 😋
  15. I have a seriously miserable track record when it comes to me attending games in person. In recent years we have won far more games than we have lost, except when I show up. On a related note, I can be bought. 😋
  16. I am far more interested in my college basketball team than I have been in several years. We need options to avoid madness, I suppose. Find healthy outlets for your fandom!

    NFL fines

They took out a perfectly good field in London to play on the worst field Von Miller has ever played on. Injuries are certainly NOT the main concern. They’re more interested in the things that make them more money, which includes not being in trouble with the NFLPA and more lawsuits and settlements.
  18. It depends. I really enjoy the football stuff, but when things go south and people get emotional and occasionally irrational, I can only go to OTW. There can be too much outrage on the football side, and most of it is just redundant threads with worthless venting, IMO. You have no control over what the team does on or off the field, so don’t let it make you crazy. I know, easier said than done, and I’ve been working on this for decades. In general there are a few people I look for because I can learn from them. Unfortunately, those opportunities can get drowned out by the rattling of pitchforks. .
  19. They took a big swing, and it didn’t work out due to injury. He had 8.5 sacks before getting hurt. If he stays healthy and we win a Super Bowl it looks a lot different. But, he did get hurt, so we will never know.
  20. This is a classic tale of how hoarding begins. You’re going to need a bigger house. 😋 I kid, and this brings back memories of some kind of stein we had in the house when I was a kid. I don’t remember where it came from or where it went, but I remember being oddly fascinated by it.
  21. We met a lady who had a tattoo on the back of her neck that artistically said “I put the FUN in Dysfuntional.” I wish I had taken a pic of it, as others did. She was quite proud of it, and I’m sure it was true. 😂
  22. All fans, including OUR fans, can have lunatic views on things. That comes with death and taxes.
  23. I just hope the GOOD Bills show up. I’ll check it out from my recliner.
  24. …and I think the feelings/opinions of the fans (especially the extremists) will play no role whatsoever. As it should be. This is not a time to be making rash, emotional decisions. Now is the time to be looking at the Big Picture. That is what I expect, and why I think McD is back.
  25. I think we should wait for a review from @Royale with Cheese before deciding how we feel about this. I believe he is our resident expert in this field.
